I don't know who recommended those openings. Weird choices I thought - they were openings from just the second half of the first series. Basically it's an isekai anime, about a man who lives a worthless life in our world, saves some kids from being run over (by truck-kun of course) and finds himself reincarnated in another world. In his new life he starts off with some of his old hang-ups but slowly redeems his previous worthless existence. The first anime series covers his new life from birth to early adolescence. The entire story (the plan is to have multiple series) will eventually cover up until his death in old age. So a big story. The anime is SFW. There was a lot of (ridiculous IMO) controversy when this first came out, but there's zero fan service in it. Every scene which could be labelled fan service has a purpose in the narrative and is integral to the redemption story. IMO it's less risky than Konosuba (although totally different in tone, of course). Highly recommended. One of the best anime series I've seen.

Can't agree with the 'fan service' comment. Fan service is aimed at titillating the audience (the fans). The scenes I think you refer to were not just the directed gaze of the audience, but were integral to the story and the character development of Rudeus and aren't titillating at all for the audience.

yep exactly what he said :D it's my favorite isekai and overall anime, re:zero is close second. I have seen lots of animes over the years but this one sticks out the most. I probably watched every reaction channel that covered this one :D

Hell yeah been waiting for this :) Edit: As of now this anime has two seasons (Or more specifically two cours which released separately) with a total of 24 episodes including one special. The animation studio was initially created to produce the adaptation for this light novel with the hopes of a complete adaptation. The visuals and animation is stunning as well as the story and the focus on the self development of the mc (Which at times can be controversial) but is a great watch which i couldn't recommend enough.

Mushoku Tensei probably why it doesn't get recommended due to it being controversial in some way. But this anime is really visually stunning and with good story telling. The controversial part is the one that makes people go away from this. This anime was made with lots of love and effort by all the big names in the Japanese animation industry is what I've heard. The animation quality, the music, and the story is really like a movie production quality. The anime is all about a neet(a person who is unemployed and always at their house) died from an accident. Then he got reincarnated to another world and redo his life.

Moshuko tensei is a Masterpiece. You should react to this. It's a new Anime from 2021 and the artstyle is one of the best I have seen so far. I think the second season will be released this year.

I love mushoku tensei a lot, it's a masterpiece in my eyes, the production of this anime is masterfully done, in literally every aspect, I'm guessing the reason that no one recommends it is that it's a controversial anime in a few aspects, so it's risky to recommend it to someone who just started to get into anime, main problem is the MC and his actions but i won't go into it since i don't wanna spoil you. But if you're willing to look past that, and see the growth he makes throughout the story and his journey you'll grow to love this anime a lot.

Okay so what happened is that you missed the first 11 episodes openings. This anime currently has 1 (or 2) seasons split into two parts. 11 episodes and 12 episodes each, called Part 1 and Part 2. You missed all of Part 1 openings. This is definitely a "cheeky anime" in the sense that it deals with heavy and problematic topics. It's kinda hard to explain the premise without spoiling especially since you've seen the visuals to Part 2 episodes now. Let's just say that it is a fantasy show with the focus on the main guy (blonde kid) and his personal growth as a person and his relationships with other people. I would recommend using a site called Animethemes.moe in many cases because they usually have everything listed so there would be less confusion. ...Except in the case of Mushoku Tensei they only have each song there once so you would be missing the visuals for many episodes with this anime on that site xD. Another recommendation would be to ask for your community/mods to each time give you specific links so you wont be missing anything.

This anime isn't rated 18+ it's probably around 15 I think. It's one of the best animes of all time in my opinion and I think you'd enjoy it.

Also as of now this anime has only 1 season consisting of around 24 episodes which was split in 2 parts consisting of around 12 episodes (anime season are recently often split into parts and the parts are released with only 1 anime season break in between)

whoever ok'd this is an idiot to say the least. firstly there is no need for so many repeats, you could have just listened to the songs without the visuals and saved like 30 minutes. secondly, these start at the halfway point of the show, so you're already completely spoiled on the first half AND missed every opening before (which are waaay less spoilery even). I get the "out of context" spoiler stuff and yes the show isn't ruined or something but just having that image of these 3 traveling is setting up expectations for the first half of the season that you will keep in the back of your mind.

This anime is incredible, however it does contain "indecent" stuff especially at the start, might be a no no for youtube. The anime does not pull any punches. It's gritty, realistic, fantasy isekai. The original isekai anime.

You should 100% watch this Few may know, but Mushoku Tensei is one of the first isekai (same gender of that time you got reincarnated as a slime) but the anime was released in 2021 so bascally it's a dude from japan who is reincarnated in another world XD And in my opinion, it's a way better anime than Overlord for exemple in term of story, storytelling, univers and character !!

The anime is incredible and plenty of people have put it on YouTube. As Yaboyroshi put it, all the "bad" scenes that happens barely make up 3 min of the entire show. People just blow things out of proportion on the internet

Also I think people's fear regarding spoilers for something like this isn't that they think the openings will spoil you right off the bat. They think that you'll remember something from the openings when you actually watch the show and make a connection between something way too early. For example the identity of the purple haired maid girls. You don't see them in the openings until very late in the show however the purple haired mother made is in the first episode of the show. The opening spoils what happens to them. Which while you might not get that now you might make that connection when you watch the show and know what happens later on. Best thing to do is to not watch openings to shows you plan to react to soon. Put a decent amount of time between your reactions to the opening and your reactions to the episodes so you have a chance to forget.

you are wrong only about one thing, this is not a 2000s anime, it's actually 2021. The reason it looks like that it's because, the animators and directors created a studio special only for this anime. They wanted to use as much 2D animation as possible and less CGI, the story is old and is the story that kinda created the genre isekai. They tried to give it a graphic style that would work with the date when it was released (A long time ago). Extra info: The story itself cover the main character life from age 0 until death. Basically is probably the single anime story that cover one's character life from start to finish in a fantasy universe.

Ah I forgot to say, probably others said, they made like 2-3 new languages and vocabulary only for the show. the characters(voice actors) speak in that specific language the whole show, they don't do it half ass job (like speaking in that language for 1 minute then switching to english or japanese)

Having watched the anime and read all the light novels I can say that it's a masterpiece in my book. I think you would like it as well. There are some questionable scenes but at the end of it they are not the main focus of the story. The main character is a degenerate that slowly learns how function as something close to a decent person. Well he tries to some degree at least. It is basically a story about personal growth of the main character and the power of second chances. I hope you watch it at some point. I reckon you could get away with it on twitch if you hide some of the realy sus things that happen just a couple of times.

That anime has a great story if you get into it, and the name of it is translated to "jobless reincarnation" just if you are curious :) its 1 season 23 episodes + 1 OVA (which is a special or something)

This is a very very good anime, but I don't recommend it for new anime watchers. There's a lot of cheeky stuff but once you have a few isekai anime under your belt, you can move to this one. I would recommend to only watch this on Patreon, since the first 4 episodes are like..... VERY CHEEKY.

Mushoku Tensei is controversial because of a few scenes and the general premise of the MC. Similar in controversy to maybe Goblin Slayer. It's really up to you and your comfort level with mature topics. If you can get past the controversy, it's a really great fantasy/adventure story. Big budget animation and fantastic voice acting. This is an anime with a huge following, which would suggest many people aren't bothered by the content. 100% recommend. A few suggestive scenes, but no nudity.

I do highly recommend Mushoku Tensei, it is a little suggestive but nothing insane. This anime has some of the best character development and world building I have seen. Also I will mention that the first season has 24 episodes but it was split into two parts, so you watched the 2nd half of the anime openings, there are still 12 more in the first half.

Mushoku Tensei is a very controversial anime in the west, its a show about personal growth but it goes a step beyond other shows and shows multiple characters doing honestly vile things for their own self interest. the characters are flawed and deep so its very rewarding when you can finally see them grow up into better people.

So some people have already some some of what it is about but Mushoku Tensei is translated to "Jobless Reincarnation". From what I have heard it is one of the first Isekai anime (or an anime where a character is sent to another world, which is most often by dying and the world is normally fantasy) that popularized the genre. It created a lot of the thematic elements popular in the genre and has done them masterfully well but by being one of the originals, its themes became bastardized when other people tried to recapture what make Mushoku Tensei Good. This is a great anime that I love to death but it is one I would hold off on for a little bit as it is a great story but hard to palate for people who are newer to anime. The anime is very cheeky and probably better for patreon than YouTube. Basically the story is about an adult shut in who hasn't left their house, and barely their room, since a traumatic bullying situation in High School. Just a note for how bullying in Japan is different from the West: While in the west has bullying mainly based around a individual or group of individuals who bully, Japanese culture has a saying "The nail that sticks up gets hammered down," or the person that stands out from society gets pushed back into line, and bullying follows the same sort of saying where if someone stands out enough to get bullied, they get bullied by everyone. So someone being bullied in a japanese classroom can easily be ostracized by the whole class. This is why japan has the highest suicide rate in the world, especially in younger people, as well as attributing to the high rate of shut ins. So this adult shut in dies trying to save a girl from getting hit by a truck and is reincarnated as a baby child, the blonde kid, in this fantasy world. By using his adult brain and work ethic he is able to do complex magic early on by training constantly. But the main issue people have with this series is how the main character acts, because he is a piece of shit but a well written piece of shit. The character acts as a horny motherfucker as he was once an adult virgin who hasn't interacted with people since high school. So this adult brain, with high school maturity and hornyness, is placed in the body of a child. This all sounds problematic and the series acknowledges that. This is where the original theme of the isekai genre is all about the question "what would you do if you had a second chance at life?" Basically the main character is a piece of shit but the story is about their growth from just above bottom of the barrel level of human being to becoming a good person.

Mushoku Tensei shows what could *actually* happen if you'd like have a happy funny trip to another world. Quite the opposite of Slime, it shows how dirty, brutal, cruel and dangerous yet beautiful and exciting would this journey be. [Quick disclaimer: yes, Slime does have heavy moments but it feels more like a game (as intended) and Mushoku is more like live action, maybe even documentary. But maybe I'm the only one thinking that way] Also "tame" is the last word I would use to describe this anime, it contains double the amount of every Twitch ban trigger. Yes, ALL of them. Even this one you've thought. And this one.

Because you're freaking out about sex scenes I don't know if it's the point to recommend this to you. But that is one of the best Isekai anime so far release, 10x better than reincarnated as a slime, and close to Re:Zero in terms of quality and story line. It's not finished yet, and may be out for a few more years. Definitely worth watching though.

Thiiiiiis might be an anime to go exclusive to Patreon, or be very careful with. It does not play around, and as far as Isekai go, it trends high on fan service. One of the earliest episodes just gets straight to showing you how adult this story can get. But, the lore of the show is still top notch. The character is intelligent, flawed (as one should be) and yet still a caring individual.
