The fact that every episode since the last episode of ss1 till this point has their subs a little bit off after the 2nd half of each episode. And that has been bugging me a lot. I wonder why he did not change the site he was watching then. But the much more mysterious thing is why no one talked about this, I wonder. I skim through every video's comments and literally no one mention this long last problem. Or am I the crazy one here?

I don't know if it's been pointed out or if you realised. But the name of Eren's titan, The Attack Titan, is the name of the show. He says "Shingeki No Kyojin" which is the name of the show in Japanese. The people that translated it to an english title thought "Attack Titan" was a strange name for a show so they just added "on" in the middle of it.

The title is a bit ambiguous in Japanese (maybe by design) so getting the translated title perfectly right for what was to come in season 3 (in terms of the anime) was unlikely from the start.

Season 4's first opening hasn't got any spoilers more just gets you hyped for the episode. The second opening for the second part of the finale season is filled with spoilers of whats about to happen near the end.

Wow what a journey to this point! Looking forward to your reaction to season 4. You keep saying the titan distribution is 7-2, but that's not right. It's 5-2(or 5-3) since Eren has 2 of the titan powers in him and Annie is being held captive. Marley only ever had 7 under their control so with Annie captured and the colossal titan with Armin, that makes 5, of which only 4 are known to us.

When grisha took the founding titan it was during season 1 and during the first colossal titan attack. So he was referring to the hundreds of people being killed and eaten at that time. Also the titan balance is 4 to 5 as the people on paradise have eren (who is 2), armin (who is 1) and they still have annie captured to technically they have her.

yes I remember reading somewhere that depending on context "shingeki no kyojin" can be interpreted as "the advancing titan, the attacking titan, the attack titan, the marching titan, etc"... so there is definitely ambiguity to it! Was definitely left that way in order for the big reveal in season 3 to make sense of it. I freaked out when I heard eren say it out loud lol

People of the walls = the people living within the walls. Titans breaking through the gates spelled certain doom for everyone in the walls, and Grisha was begging for that to be stopped.

Don't watch trailer for season 4. Just watch the show. Also, keep in mind, the animation will be a lot different due to season 4 being animated by a different animation studio.

you seem to forget that the war already started. the attack of bert and reiner was the first strike, their goals have not changed. they still want the founding titan because it's a threat to the entire world (remember the kings warning)

The Kings decree about the titans in the walls coming out and laying waste to them if they attack/bother him that the Marleans keep mentioning that has them in fear and the reason they havent just launched a full scale assault already? I mean of course you dont know if thats true or not but it has at least been said that they indeed DO have a titan army "Before the people of the walls are eaten" It means exactly whats been happening from episode 1. everyone is inside the walls to keep titans away cause titans EAT humans... as theyve been doing al l this time... and since the founding titan controls titans he was begging the king to stop the titans so that people wouldnt have to live in fear and not worry about being eaten anymore, as the king has the complete power to do just that. That wasnt a riddle or have an hidden meaning. He was just begging for what everyones been asking from day one "If the King can control the titans then why doesnt he end this instead of letting ppl get eaten?"

1) What Eren's father said about everyone being eaten, keep in mind that he went to the Reiss family only after the Colossus Titan broke through Wall Maria in the first episode. He had been putting it off and content with his family, but once the wall was breached, he found Eren in a shelter, brought him to the Reiss church, and was begging for Frida to use her power to stop the Titans so more people wouldn't be killed. When she refused, he fought her, killed her, then fed himself to Eren to pass on the power of the Attack and Founding Titans. I know it's hard to keep track of the order of events sometimes. 2) The weapon our people have in the Walls is the millions of Titans sleeping within the Walls. As long as they have the Founding Titan on their side, the rest of the world will fear them being unleashed. That's why the enemy Titans/Marley were desperate to get the Coordinate back from the king so they could safely attack the Island of Paradis and take the natural resources that can be found there without risk of the Wall Titans being released. 3) ONLY Eldians can become Titans as it's a part of their genetic race and ONLY Eldians can be mind controlled by the Founding Titan. People of other races, like Asians (Mikasa), the Ackermann family, and the nobles that were controlling the government before Erwin and Pixis overthrew them, are not connected by blood. That's why the nobles kept threatening our people after they were captured, saying that they were just going to have their memories wiped again, because the nobles were immune and also why those specific families were chosen to serve under the king and keep the secrets of the truth of the world. People of other races inside the Walls are super rare, by the way, and are the descendants of a few non-Eldians that chose to serve the First King of the Walls when he moved the majority of his people to the Island.

I would definitely watch the opening for season 4 when you start it, there's a second opening halfway through the season and it does have some spoilers but you really won't notice them unless you are looking for something specific

So, fun fact: "Shingeki no Kyojin" (the Japanese name of the series) is *directly* translated as "Attack on Titan". But if you listen to Eren when he says "The Attack titan", he says "Shingeki no Kyojin". Japanese is a complex language with many small details. Sometimes, a direct translation isn't accurate. The proper name of Attack on Titan is "The Attack Titan", but when the series was widely recognized as "Attack on Titan", the Mangaka rolled with it. Also, the final scene of season 3 (everyone at the sea) was teased in the first episode of the season, if you might remember.

Keep in mind why Reiner, Burrt, and Annie came their in the first place, to steal the founding titan, the warning the king gave from within the walls is what scares the rest of the world and bought them this short peace, millions of titans in the walls. The radius of wall maria alone is over 3,000 km.

The next season has two openings. I really think you should watch the first one (ep 1-16) it adds to the experience and doesn't spoil anything, watch the first ending as well (watch the op and ed in every episode 1-16 imo). You should skip the second opening though

Like someone else said, and it's ofc not even close to being a spoiler, a year has passed since Eren has been seeing his dad's (and presumably maybe even Krugers and beyonds?) memories, and the weight of those truths weighing on him. He's "seen" the sea before, it's almost like visiting a place he's been to and where they might go. I haven't watched all of season 4 yet but my gut hurts thinking about where it'll end

also as of right now i think the main reason why there can't be peace for the island is due to the large cache of resources they're sitting on. i forgot if it was gas, or a mineral or w/e but it's half the reason Marley wants to claim it, as well as reclaim the "power" that Marley thinks is rightfully theirs; the Founding, Colossal, and Attack titan.

I love your reactions to this incredible story! Now, the reason people say you aren't picking up information is because you're pausing in the middle of scenes and getting the information wrong or just missing stuff. Pausing to give your thought is one thing, but lately you're pausing to rewrite the story according to your theory. Of course, it's okay to theorize, but you're doing it to the point where you're believing what you theorized over what they're actually telling you in the story. A big example of that was your theory on Erwin's father and the Beast Titan. You missed so much information because your theory wouldn't allow you to be open-minded to other things. You've done that so many times. It's hard to watch for us viewers who know what's actually happening. You used to wait until the end, before giving your thoughts but now you do it even while the information is being told to you. You'll pause take two or three minutes to explain what you think is going to happen and then push play and immediately find out the accurate information. Why not just let it play through the scene and let the story unfold?

I do kinda agree with "Annashaki" Now some stuff if fine to theorize on.. well lets rephrase that ALL things are fine to theorize on. But one thing I cant stand that a lot of reactors do is theyll pause and "rave on" for 5 minutes and even ask questions that are literally about to be answered in the next 2 minutes. Im staring at the screen like "God if you just stop talking and unpause youll literally find out in 2 MINUTES" thats why i think its best to do all that after the episode just incase questions you had DURING the episode end up getting answered in that same episode
