Better remember every characters first name and their surname, it's useful for the upcoming final season, or it would be very difficult to recognize those hiding information, and in Japan they will call their surname if they're not close enough, for politeness.

the teacher and best titan guy look nothing a like sure they have a beard and glasses but the beast titan guys hair is light blonde whereas the teachers hair is darker. put screenshots of both of them side by side and youll clearly see theyre notthe same person; And Erwin said his father (the teacher) died.. which he did and that beast titan guy is clearly very much alive. Also the ore for the light was HARVESTED from that cavern, as you saw the whole cavern/cave down there is made from that stuff and theres PLENTY of it, yes its the same material as Erens hardening ability but they dont NEED Eren for that they have a whole underground cave full of the stuff they can just go down there and get

The bullshit cliffhangers return! This half of the season is a non-stop thrill ride of action and pain with a couple moments of outrageous what-the-fuckery thrown in for good measure. Usually as cliffhangers, natch. That scene where the row of lightning and titans appear had my jaw on the fucking floor when I first saw it.

All titans are/were humans. Think of Titans like war machines. Most (the normal titans) are like tanks or sappers (hey, a brit reference!). The special Titans - Beast, Armor, etc. are the tactical nukes. There's only a few of them, but can cause mass damage and every country wants one. Some can control normal titans.

It wasn't mentioned, but it was very clearly implied since he could command those titans, he appeared any time their were titans within the walls, and the only new development that could possibly explain these titans was the appearance of the beast titan. So at this point in time it was PAINFULLY obvious that the beast titan was responsible.

the only thing i found obvious back then was that the beast titan is the first talking titan theyve seen and the "normal" titans follow his orders thus he must be the boss titan, that it. nothing at that point implied that he CREATES titans

Armins last name is Arlert, its a more formal way of addressing him. The Commander want to make sure there is a very clear difference in status, and is probably also taught traditionally so hes not going to call Armin by his casual, "friend" name

If you didn't find it obvious that he was the one that turned Connie's village into titans then that's on you for being dense, but it was VERY obvious to anybody who paid even a little bit of attention. At the time we knew all the normal titans from that arc were entirely contained within the walls and we learned there was no hole in the wall. So we knew the titans originated from inside the walls. Then we knew that one village had been completely destroyed without a single survivor, without any sign of titans killing anybody, without any signs that the population even attempted to flee, and with a titan that was completely incapable of moving laying on Connie's house that resembles Connie's mother and said "welcome home" to him when he encountered it. We knew back then that this titan was his mother, and that she had been turned into a titan at the same time dozens of other titans appeared and the people of his village disappeared. So we knew for a fact back then that his entire village had been turned into titans whilst still inside the walls, and the only new thing inside the walls was the beast titan, who directly interacted with these titans and was leading them. We didn't know HOW he did it, we only knew that he did it.
