Akame ga kill anime is totally not worth it, they used the manga as source material instead of the novel even though the manga wasn't even finished when they were airing the anime and because of that they decided to completely change the story and kill all of the characters, its fine untill episode 20 but last 4 episodes are total garbage, read the manga or novel and don't bother with the anime to anyone that's reading this.

I have very mixed feelings on this anime as a huge fan of the manga. To let you know without spoiling anything the anime caught up to manga about half way through and due to this the anime changed almost completely from the source material and it made for a split in the fanbase. Personally despite this I still love the anime despite this. The animation is amazing the songs are great and the characters are still some of my favourite in any media (even though the manga gives them even more development). To this day this is still in my top 10 animes and one of my friends and I have cosplayed as two of the characters from this show at conventions. I hope this is an anime you will fall in love with as much as I have with all it’s dark and depressing moments.

I enjoyed watching this, it is a fun anime to watch, its not outstanding as other animes, I give it a 7.5-8.0/10 personally. It's good but not great. Worth a watch at least.

I really enjoyed this anime. Agreed that it's hard to compare to some of my favorites like AoT, FMAB, or Death Note, but it's really good in its own right. I absolutely love the soundtrack in this show. Would highly recommend.

Esdeath = Massive boobs character and best in this show =) PS. Best thing about this anime is it's not afraid to kill of characters.

This show is gorey but not unnecessarily gorey. U would definitely like it. Also, u need to watch Kill La Kill. Ur brother’s right when he says it’s super good!
