fully support you checking out demon slayer!! it's not really on the "lighthearted" side, but the story and animation style include a lot of humor so i can see how people would say that. the main story is definitely dark, but just like this intro, it's incredibly inspiring and makes you want to stay strong and fight within your own life (at least that's the affect it has on me). i hope you check it out at some point, i'd love to see which characters you gravitate towards!

if you wanna only watch 1 anime at the same time, I recommend to go to Demon Slayer right after Attack on Titan tbf. Its another big one most will likely recommend all the time

Demon Slayer has comic relief here and there but it is primarily dark.

It's not as heavy as AOT, but I can say it is definitely very good. The fights are very intense. It will have you sweating wondering if the main character will succeed.

You can easily watch Demon Slayer it has 37 episodes in total at the moment with 1 movie The movie is the second season of the show Red Light Distriction is the 3rd season.

red light district is the entertainment district right? that's season 2. The movie is part of season 2 but not the entirety. Season 3 of demon slayer is not out yet and it has nothing to do with the entertainment district

The Best Opening is a can of worms you just opened up... I'd say either A Cruel Angel's Thesis (Yousei Teikoku) from Neon Genesis Evangelion, My Soul, Your Beats! (LiA) from Angel Beats or unravel (tk from Ling Tosite Sigure) from Tokyo Ghoul

I think everyone's introduction to anime nowadays is AoT followed by Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia. All three are very worth it. And yes, the lyrics absolutely match the plot

would definitely recommend watching the Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works openings a Prequel to the Fate Zero ones you did, Aimer is one of the openings and its amazing, you would have heard it during the top 100 anime openings but its often hard to find on youtube so might be a copyright issue for the reaction.
