Spyair, who sang at least one opening for haikyuu, also sang some from Gintama. You should check the openings and endings from Gintama, they are insane.

You should also check out the endings for Haikyuu

Is anyone else having trouble playing any videos recently? I never had a problem up until a few days ago.

There are so many different types of anime than just action and fantasy, with dramas, sports, romance and everyday slice of life shows. Haikyuu is a very well done and super hype sports drama that is popular for reason! Most anime openings are released as a full song as well, because they are usually recorded at a normal length of around 3-4 mins and then are cut down to fit into the 1:30 minute opening.

Just to answer your question about what the show is about. Haikyuu follows Karasuno High School's boy's volleyball team. Specifically we follow Hinata Shoyo, the orange haired boy you saw all throughout the openings. Hinata fell in love with volleyball when he watched a national tournament on tv one day. He decides then and there he is going to play volleyball despite the fact that he is much shorter than your average player. As you noted, there is no crazy super powers, or fantasy elements. The show is grounded in reality and the volleyball showcased in the anime is realistic (albeit with a bit of anime flair). It's an anime that is very character focused and even a bit emotional at times. I could not recommend it more. It's a fantastic show. Filled with awesome characters, and great sports based action. As someone who used to have no interest in volleyball whatsoever, it pulled me right into that world and made me fall in love with it. Awesome reaction, as always :)

Think we need an anime reaction a day so we can take you through the massive world of anime’s vast variety of genres.

so there might not be "action" in the conventional sense but the games and tournaments are so awesome tense and beautifully animated that I wouldn't call it anything other than pure action. It is one of my top 5 animes of all time and I can guarantee that you would love it. oh and there are actually animes of people just working at a supermarket too LOL. anything you can think of there's an anime for... like I watched an anime about making a literal dictionary. there was nothing else there just people going through the process and the office drama that comes from it. anime is so vast and diverse that there is an anime for EVERYTHING you can think of (they may or may not be good but they are there)

Please react to all the One Piece openings, there's 24 of them so it would be quite long but it's definitely worth reacting to in my opinion :)

Haikyuu is one of the most popular anime out there and for a reason. It's exciting and has absolutely phenomenally written characters. It seems we neglected sports anime until now, so you should probably listen to the Free! openings^^

You should check out ranking of kings

if he was to watch and react to onepiece there is over a 1000 episodes already, its still not finished, at the pace of 3 episodes a week it would take him 3 years minimum at one episode a day just through sheer math 365 days a year 365 episodes at 1 a day is 1 year thats easily just 3 years to not even get to 1000 at that point and his pace of 3 a week it would mathematically take 4-7 years real time to finish the anime. And we would never get another anime to watch again.

One piece is my #1 but I agree that for streaming/reaction purposes its just to much

higgins8000 .

If he starts one piece I would have to not watch for like 5 years cause that show is just WAAAY too long lol Also Haikyuu is top tier :)

Haikyuu is such a cultural phenominon that it drastically impacted how popular high school volleyball was in Japan. This chart is pretty cool. https://imgur.com/a/YSUhS

If I was going to point someone at some OPs, I'd probably have to go with Kiss of Death from Darling in the Franxx, Hacking to the Gate from Stein's; Gate, and the OP from Angel Beats. And all the OPs from Bakemonogatari 😈
