Dark Anime Shows With a Thriller/Horror theme occasionally or mainly: Berserk (One of the shows that inspired this show, the original show was not finished, but I love it. Action show) Elfen Lied: A dark show that changes moods, might make you think of eren. A bit less action. Higurashi no naku koro ni: A slice of love show that is actually horror. Jojo's bizarre adventure do some serious mood changes.

The little information cards you saw about halfway through the episode are the commercial break transitions. they can have some insightful information sometimes or just sometimes be a completely random fact. Its worth reading them if its translated, but its not imperative that you do so for every one

sorry, one last comment. if you want to watch the anime somewhere that doesn't have a watermark in the middle of the episode I recommend watching it here! Not saying you need to watch it here or anything, just a suggestion. https://9anime.id/watch/attack-on-titan.kww/ep-1 this link is episode one of AoT specifically so no need to try and navigate to the series. There are no ads when you are watching the show here but there are sometimes redirects when clicking links but my adblocker seems to stop these 95% of the time. I have been using this site to watch anime for as long as I can remember. It's easy to find the next episodes and next seasons and easy to switch between sub/dub if you want to. If you don't want the website to auto-skip the intros and ending songs there are checkboxes you can click below the video.

I really enjoyed this reaction, Luke! I would also recommend watching Demon Slayer, Assassination Classroom, and maybe Tokyo Ghoul. You may enjoy them and fair warning this show is quite dark but it has it's light moments.

Great reaction as always! Just a quick tip, these shows are on websites like 9anime or animixplay.to. It will be 1080p, with subs and no watermark. I do recommend adblock, since alot of the times there are ads on these websites, but adblock blocks all of them. Also, if you ever want to watch another anime, Demon Slayer is an incredible watch, and im sure 99% of people will agree!

Another reactor, Nicholas Light, was in the same boat as you not that long ago when he started reacting to anime on his channel. Most of his stuff was primarily music reactions as well. He’s having a good time with it all, plus his viewership has been doing great. I wouldn’t be worried about branching out to different things tbh if that’s what you want to do
