Yeah this anime is base on Chinese drama tropes since it’s based in China if you watched any of them it’s very similar to those.

I doubt we'll see Fairy Tail ever tbh, there are many better and much shorter shows than that. It's like 328 episodes at the moment, which is enough time to watch 27 other series. If he watched 5 episodes a week, it would take 5 and half years to finish. And most of all, it doesn't bring in big viewer numbers. I'm sorry to say friend, It's just not realistic.

mmmmm i didnt write down the time stamp but I thought Luke said the vote will be done on twitch, and he will announce it on youtube closer to the end of HxH..... Yeh that "big anime" time slot is meant to be for.... big anime :D yeh I dont count it to win, but an acknowledgement that it is one of the big ones would be nice. I mean, the prediction is for naruto and one piece to win next, and pretty sure both of those will be far longer, and will be a heck of alot of short anime, but that's neither here nor there..... I might be one of the weird ones that prefer FT over black clover, so seeing that on the list and not FT was a bummer.....

im pretty sure maomao said 2000 females that includes all the servant girls like Maomao and friends. Still, all 2000 of them are of his choosing (cant say no when the emperor wants you), but chances are he wont. :D

MaoMao is such a great character, but my personal favorite is Lady Gyokuyou because she's such a prankster at heart and I love when she laughs.

MaoMao best female MC of 2023 with Frieren. Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss) and Alisa Okehazama have composed a splendid OST! You'll love this season :) In the historical genre, I highly recommend Ōoku: The Inner Chambers (Netflix). A tragic uchrony of the Japanese Edo period, where a strange disease has decimated the male population. But it's much darker than Apothicary Diaries.

I suggest watching Snow White with the Red Hair at some point after you finish Apothecary Diaries. I think you would really enjoy that anime, too. It is a bit similar to Apothecary Diaries where the main girl is an herbalist working for a kingdom and has one of the best written romances I have ever seen in an anime.

Your chat is wrong on one thing. The emperor do not have 2000 concubines. There are 2000 females in the rear palace including the servants, and then there are 1000 eunuchs. It was never stated how many of them were his concubines. I'm willing to bet there are more female servants than the concubines, and if we ratio it 5:1 we get 333~ concubines. servants includes everyone except the concubines, so cleaners, laundry servants, cooks, etc.
