Bocchi’s solo is one of my favourite moments in anime. Genuinely gives goosebumps with how awesome to at moment is. Now you are understanding the love Bocchi the Rock gets because it’s these moments that just make it stand out so much. The way they use these performances almost as character development is so good. Side note: have you ever thought about watching kill la kill? You will genuinely enjoy it a lot!

Welcome to iyashikei anime. That's why the genre (also Cute Girls Doing Cute Things, or just slice of life) is so popular. The characters tend to be super likeable and you just feel happy or content while watching them. Nothing bad ever really happens. If there is any drama or sadness, it usually doesn't last long and gets resolved in a satisfying and heart-warming way.

I personally would prefere to do normal vote, like we always do for patreon exlusive. Starting Invincible without voting would probably make a lot of people annoyed, but if it wins vote, then those people won't be able to complain about you watching it.

I love how, during Bocchis solo you could see, when Nijika realized who Bocchi is and how amazed Kita was at Bocchis awesomnes and how she hat problems taking her eyes of of Bocchi during the song. And please do a normal vote for the the next patreon exclusive. If Invincible wins the vote, it is fine, but if it wins without a vote that would be really unfair

Since you like Bocchi, you shoulf consider watch K-ON. It has a very similar story, but it's a conpleted anime.

My preference would be to have a vote, but Invincible wouldn’t be so long that it’s a huge deal if you decide to just watch it. Maybe you can have Invincible take over for Hazbin on YouTube? I have several shows I want to see on Patreon if possible since they have content that makes them only able to be watched on here.

This might be the 11/10 episode among 10/10 episodes for me, the name drop is epic, Bocchis play is epic, and everybody has their moment, Nijika and her sister, Kita, sorry, Ikuyo, P.A., Kikuro, Ryo. And the music. And there are still the inventive animations, anime and music references, all that. And how the performance is animated, from the close-ups, over the head view, view from the back, just like many live performances Luke has reacted to. It basically *is* a live performance they filmed and animated over, so the play looks so real because it is. One could take a bass, guitar, drums and repeat what they are doing in the anime and it would sound like it (if you are any good..). Most of the stuff after the first paragraph I learned after I watched and already loved it, which made me appreciate the care and love put into BtR it even more.

13:25 Ever since you announced this being in the reaction queue, I (and a good portion of your subscriber base, I'd wager) have been waiting for this EXACT MOMENT. Also, a typhoon (from the Chinese 'tai fung'-'big wind') is what they call hurricanes in the Pacific. The fact that anyone showed at all is kind of remarkable. Also impressive as hell that they managed to convey every error Bocchi was pointing out in the performance. It was off *just* enough that I was left wondering if I was just hearing things until her voiceover confirmed it. Excellent attention to detail.

That moment of pride is the entire reason I watch idol/band anime. Bocchi the Rock, K-On!, Zombieland Saga, Ya Boy Kongming, even Oshi no Ko in a way, when that moment hits and the characters are there on stage, you feel like a proud friend or mentor who's watched them grow up to this point. The extent varies from show to show, but that investment in the characters is what makes them all so great!

also, if you want an anime that might make you feel similar to bocchi, i’d totally recommend the dangers in my heart. it has two 12 episode seasons and the show is phenomenal. god it makes you feel so proud, just like in this show

Funny you should mention about sales I used to do alot of door to door sales for lawn care which I believe you call garden care in the uk I might be wrong but for me it came very naturally however alot of people aren't cut out for sales for the same reason u mentioned they're very reserved and nervous talking to people in a sales environment now I do tele sales and it's even more prevalent there.

I’m not opposed to watching Invincible again but I’d prefer to have a vote. Maybe have Invincible replace Mushoku Tensei or Hazbin and have a vote for another Patreon exclusive anime after Bocchi finishes. There are so many great anime that have been recommended for a Patreon slot that it doesn’t feel right for Invincible to just jump the queue with no input from the community

I haven't gotten the impression that a lot of people have been asking for Invincible, but if there has been we should still do a vote, especially if it was Twitch viewers and not Patreon viewers that have been recommending it. There are so many shows that could only be Patreon exclusives, and since there are only two videos a week, we are unable to get through as many shows a year compared to YouTube and Twitch, so we should definitely let the community vote to decide what we should watch for that slot.

I love this episode and concert so much. Like, you hear Bocchi say how everyone is not in sync and in their full potencial, but is not just that. You can hear throught the whole song all those mistakes and more somehow. Watch the episode 5 one again and then this, you´ll see. Also clever that to do this more effectively they put out the same song we already heard. And not only this but when Bocchi does the solo to connect to the next song, which we haven´t heard yet (and the solo itself is not on the original song you can hear on spotify, because is a concert thing), everyone is not just looking because they are surprised, but you can see that from that moment forward they look at Bocchi the whole time. That is because someone, 99% (I think) and in this case as well the drummer, is the one that need to put the tempo for the song. But right now is Bocchi the one that is controling the tempo, she is in charge of the whole song and I love it.

If you're looking for more of these happy, invested emotions I strongly, STRONGLY recommend you watch "A Place Further Than The Universe". It also features 4 girls, but instead of forming a band they have a dream of going to antarctica and do their absolute best to get there. It's one of the most heartwarming anime I've ever seen and also the first time I ever cried at an anime. It doesn't have to be a patreon exclusive, in fact you don't even have to react to it. Just watch it in your own time. I think you would really love it.

Actually, I learned that the reason kita is looking at Bocchi throught the whole song, and for Ryo and Nijika as well if you look it up, is because Bocchi right there and then is the one making the tempo for the song. That would normally be the drummer´s job (or so I heard), but since everyone was so nervous Bocchi did the solo to lead to the song. So Kita and the rest need to look at her fast pace to be able to follow her. Kita the most cause she is new.

I love that they literally gave them a performance that cleared the weather, they had a bright free sky afterwards - just like how Bocchi cleared their worries. Also "That band" is the same song Bocchi played on the street last episode, just without the other instruments and that Kikuri played different bass lines than Ryo. And man I love the different meaning the title got with this episode! It's not all about "Bocchi's rock" like you would think reading the title, it's about how Bocchi is the rock that stands tall for the rest, unwavering and being there for the rest to pull themselves up unto their usual level.

Just love the moment Bocchi enters "the zone" - the moment when you stop thinking and you are just doing what you are best at to the limit. You can even see this in her eyes, she gets this empty (but still not lifeless) eyes, just sees herself and th guitar without even realizing there is a crowd or anything else. And then she basically "wakes up" after the song. It is so well done. And this won't be the last insane Bocchi moment 😄

Just in case you didn't know or nobody told you. Bocchi's name "Hitori" means, 1 person, while her sister "Futari" means 2 people. Hitori's Full name is Goto Hitori, if you switch them, it becomes Hitori goto, which means "speaking to myself". Then Hitoribocchi means "Alone" or "all by myself". Kita's name is Kita Ikuyo, Kita means "I arrived" while Ikuyo means "let's go", because she's outgoing. Nijika's name means "Rainbow" for Niji and "Summer" for ka, because she's always positive and lively. Ryo means "cool" or "refreshing".

An easy part to discern is Kita singing at 11:06. Compare this to the audition episode or the actual song and there is a noticable difference in tempo. Wouldn't be able to tell you which notes are wrong or off beat but it is definitely different.

Oh yeah, that first performance was super messy, but it's the kind of messy you see a lot when you go to see amateur bands (and play in them). Main problem was tempo wasn't consistent across the band and things were a little pitchy. It's actually incredibly difficult for skilled players to play "badly" intentionally (in a way that's realistic anyway) so it really speaks to their skill as musicians that they were able to do that.

Lol here in Texas, honestly can't even guess what'll hit us anymore. Could be a sunny day, a cloudy one. Could be fresh(80° F) or could be pre heating (96° but feels 105°) Then we could also get a small storm that rips and tears through every city it hits. Or we can get a Category 4 Hurricane that only floods us. With the new update in the weather. We can also add freeze and frozen roads.😀😀 It can also be sunny in the morning, random big storm hit around the afternoon then sunny again. It's fun trying to guess what we get for the day.

Just in case, empanadas are a typical food in many Spanish-speaking countries. In my country they are very common as breakfast to be eaten fried and you can eat meat, chicken, fish, etc... it is a very diverse food and with many ways to prepare it. Great Reaction!
