I think Dororo with its 26 episodes would be good for patreon eventually. It has quite a lot of gore and perhaps little bits of nudity. Not now after Bocchi, but eventually. Maybe someone could do a little check if Dororo would be safe on Youtube or not.

The answers to a lot of your questions are in the description under the YouTube video. The First Take are one of the good YouTube channels that goes to the trouble of writing proper description for each video they upload… but all it does is remind me of why all the other channels don’t bother - because it seems no one reads descriptions these days!

There's actually a stage performance of the VAs where they read the script of the characters, and also some of them also sang some of the songs in the series

Kessoku Band are an actual performing band. They don’t tour full-time or anything yet but they do play shows every now and again for the Bocchi fans. For example, later this year they have 5 shows across Japan over the course of 3 months. There’s a full live concert album out on streaming services which also have a couple of videos out on YouTube. :) This song is a brand new song that was made for the compilation movie that just came out in Japan. Kessoku Band has 18 original songs and so there’s still tons you haven’t heard yet either. If you love the more upbeat vibe of this one, then there’s one song coming up I think you’ll adore!

I can answer your question about whether you can see Kessoku Band live if you answer this one question for me: How soon can you come to Japan?

Please react to Oddtaxi on The First Take PLEASE!!

I like to think of Kessoku Band as something similar to EGOIST in the sense that they're a group originally created for an anime that went on to perform on stage all over Japan. I believe Kessoku band will continue to perform after Bocchi the Rock is finished

Please react to girls band cry songs

Damn Kuma has updated his top 151 all time anime op, interesting

Kessoku Band is made up of artists from multiple bands so it's not a full time band but they do occasionally have concerts and small tours. "Shine as usual" is a new song that is the opening for the first recap movie. The movie covers the first 8 episodes and also has another song as the ending theme "Now, I'm going from underground". As for a season 2 it hasn't been announced. However, people are predicting that because the second Recap Movie is only covering episode 9-12 that there will be more additions than the first Recap Movie and they might tease a season 2.

Hey this lineup is actually the original Kessoku Band! They've been using various session musicians for concerts and other appearances, but Ritsuo Mitsui (guitar) is the one that arranged all the songs and recorded the guitar parts for the show and the record. I also know that Osamu Hidai is the original drummer, so it's a fair bet that Yuichi Takama was the original bassist as well

Kessoku Band, the greatest band to not exist. I explain them now kinda like Gorillaz, the actual members don't exist but there are real musicians behind them, and the fictional characters are the ones you care about and associate with the band. I don't think anyone expected Bocchi to be such a phenomenon so a lot of the touring and live band stuff was kinda figured out on the fly. There's so much extra stuff surrounding Bocchi these days. From albums to Web serieses, to a stage play. The series that shows the VA for Bocchi learn to play the guitar so she can perform her song at their big concert is super fun. Also their whole album is so good. Flashbacker is my favorite song and it's not even in the anime, but there is a YouTube video of them performing it live in studio.

Do also check out CrosSing, a channel that features anime singers, VAs, Vtubers, etc doing cover anime cover songs. The singer Hasegawa Ikumi in this First Take was also featured there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaD4nJPAUgU

Unfortunately you WON'T see this performance in season 1 as the song has just been released, but nonetheless the anime will include many good songs that match the characters.

There's a movie coming, season 2 not confirmed yet

Luke, would you answer me why Death Note is not on your patreon? It makes me sad to have to watch it on YouTube with censorship

romibi

Copyright Reasons. But check out DNS1 collection here on Patreon 😉

Wow, thank you very much for the advice bro, I wish I had known this sooner because I'm already on chapter 17 but better late than never, thanks! 😊💙

Why not give "Spare me great lord" ops a try it's chinese (donghua) anime. The op is really good 👍

Hey Luke... Can you check this out. I just found another Top 100 anime opening video that I think the most underrated ones since a lot of unheard anime in the list. You guys who saw my comment here can check it also. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/5U-g3k4HPxw?si=8kqc9aqUNHGFrtvq

I actually watched a concert live on the Stagecrowd platform last year, “Kessoku Band Concert-Fixed Star” (that’s how all the concerts are called), it was awesome and I read (one of) it will be shown on TV this fall (in Japan).

axilir21

Wait really ? I was waiting for that maan, seems we'll have to wait another year or 2 then
