Insects in the night is not the main problem here. Desserts nights are very cold. Also what Rudeus will do in this journey will make you drop your jaw to the floor, can't wait xD.

Nice to see Elinalise in non-amatory action for a change! As Luke said, she and Rudy do indeed work well together. The move where she impaled the gryphon's foot to let Rudy get a better shot was particularly good. Elinalise does have very good reasons to go with Rudy, as Zenith and Roxy, both at risk, are probably her best friends.

Got to love a double standard. Cliff is like 16…. Lise is like 100+. If it was the other way it’s weird. lol. 😂

Though they did cut A LOT from the novels. I really have no issues with it. There are more important things ahead than the things they cut. Others may agree, I know others won't. Other than that this episode FLEW by. I sat down pressed play and boom it finished. Also do remember that Elinalise is a S rank adventurer and Rudy is an A rank. There's also a lot of small hints that showed in this episode. I won't say what though. Other than all this rambling, fantastic episode once again.

If I had to pick between seeing my childs birth and being less able to protect them in the future; or the chance to miss there birth but be better prepared to protect them in the future (which is what will happen if Rudy is able to save his mom and get his whole family back together).... I would choose the ladder. I'd never want to miss that, and in the real world there aren't many scenarios where the ladder would be an actual need/ but in Rudy's world filled with the strong (Ornstead and the like), the chaos (the teleportation incident), etc; he needs to have good friends and alleys in the future
