Lelouch is telling the truth though, they were literally all pawns, he may care for them a little and some of them a lot more like Kallen, but if he could sacrifice everyone in that room for Nunnaly he'd do it in a blink of an eye.

I don't think it was an army composed of the whole world (sans britania) Remember that as part of the alliance the other countries (I don't know if all of them) renounced having an army altogether, in exchange for the Black Knights fighting for and representing all their interests (so there would be no bias between each country) So it's one single army, probably slightly larger than a standard country army as it's multinational (but mostly Japanese), but not enough to be a world wide army.

The battle over Tokyo was just 1 front (though the most important since the faction leaders and the most advanced nightmares and the FLEIJA were all present there), however battles were taking place across the world at the border territories, we notably saw part of the battle over the ocean between China and Japan(where Shin-Ke the Chinese general is)

Ok. 1. Is good that you think is just like a reboot for R1. 2. Yes Lelouch order to kill scientis including childs in the Geass Order Hideout. 3. Lelouch without Nunally is just a walking dead. (Lack of purpose). As i mentioned in S1 episodes, Unlike Light from DN, lelouch care for his friends and family (he hate himself when his beloved ones are involved in his Zero Operations.), Light use his familly and friends without remorse to make a "Better world". 4. He thinks Nunally is dead, he doesn't care anymore about a revolution, he wanted to die there. 5. I'll continue as a patreon if next anime is Psycho Pass :) !!

With Monogatari coming back this summer there is a lot of hype for fans that you can react to it soon. However, given it’s length I wouldn’t mind doing a shorter Patreon exclusive first, such as Bocchi the Rock, especially since it was the number 2 choice on the last poll

This might sound weird to say, but you’ve been very honest and I appreciate that, how you don’t love the show you just like it, but I truly feel and maybe I’m just biased that if you watched it in dubbed, you’d like it a little bit more. I just feel like the really crazy episodes and impact moments hit harder in English. To me Johnny Yong Bosch performance as zero is top tier.

Yeaah, Code Geass is beloved, but it's not a "perfect" anime, like something like FMA:B, which has a consistent bar throughout the entire run of the anime. Buut, I'd say since you're so close to the end, judge the show in its entirety when it is over. These episodes are going to get better and better, and the finale... oh my god the finale

Monogatari is slightly more than 100 episodes but it is worth it imo. If that's too big of a commitment you could always start with Bakemonogatari (first season that is 15 episodes long) and the Kizumonogatari movies and see from there if people want you to continue after that.

Code Geass season 2 was released in the 2009s and there weren't many shows that did this weird mecha military school life supernatural thing, even now, but the way it ends is STILL something we rarely get in the last 15 years of ANIME and i guess thats why many people have a strong adoration for this series.

I like how Luke has turned into Tamaki. We've had Lelouch consistently say he's only doing this for himself and Nunnally as well as consistently sacrificing scores of his own people but when Ohgi comes in with proof Luke goes into "Don't you insult my boy." mode.

Here's the rundown: 5 Akito the Exiled movies - canon, takes place between S1 and S2 2 Recap movies - Those movies are important because THEY MODIFY THE CANON 1 last movie, that takes place after the whole show, and follows THE RECAP MOVIES CANON. My comment made it into a reaction video POGGERS. Definitely recommend The Irregular at Magic Highschool for the next patreon exclusive. I think the biggest reason the Black Knights turned is 1. The nature/power of his Geass to control people twists the narrative every so called "miracle" Lelouch performed as Zero and incomprehensible to them and 2. The information about Zero commanding Euphy to kill the Japanese, we as the viewer know it's an accident. But every character bar 2-3 wouldn't have the composure to accept that as truth hence the quick flip on loyalty to Zero

The United Federation of Nations (the massive alliance) is unaffected by this. Zero was not a part of their governance at all, merely the leader of the Black Knights: their military force. The Black Knights are still intact and still serving the UFN. Japan, having been now liberated, will likely join the UFN. As for Lelouch's surrender, not only had he lost his major reason for living (Nunally), but he recognized that Schnitzel had put him in "checkmate." He was done. There was nothing he could do. So he made sure Kallen, at least, would survive. Quick note on the movies: there are 3 Code Geass movies. The first two cover seasons 1 and 2, though obviously highly condensed and with a few significant divergences from the TV series plot, including Shirley being alive. The third movie takes place after the series/the first two movies. I don't think the movie is necessary, and it isn't canonical with the series, but if everyone else wants to see your reaction to it or if you want to watch it, I'm down for it.

10 million deaths, 25 million casualties. Casualties include injury. It affected a 10 km2 area which is just slightly smaller than the real world Tokyo. Irl Tokyo has 13 million inhabitants. Code Geass Tokyo has all the Britainians on top. They don't reveal what happened to Zero to the world, they just betray him and then manipulate the situation. The other countries have no trouble believing Zero died in battle. Engaging in the new status quo would be beneficial to them if Japan does get it's independence, as no area ever succeeded and it may be a starting point for their own local efforts. There was fighting all over the world, it was shown a few episodes back.

We know this world has the potential for fake voices since Lelouch's helmet canonically has a voice changer (I think it's mentioned in EP2 or 3 when it's first created) and Rolo literally copies the voice of the pilot he stole the Vincent from when Zero frees the Black Knights (though this may not be publicly available tech). Regardless, a potential deep fake is a very minor thing when compared to the numerous mysterious deaths and out-of-character moments presented in the packet Kanon hands out. Reading through those, it's more a matter of whether or not you can come to terms with the fact that Lelouch has used people as pawns, including the scores of people massacred at his command.

All key studios anime is sad and I love their Visual Novels. My favorite anime only by Key is Angel Beats but an anime based on a VN by them is probably either Clanned or Kanon. Rewrite was a great VN but the anime was meh and Little Busters had a great Anime but the VN wasn't as good.

Psycho-Pass next for Patreon exclusive anime. It would fit well on Patreon for the mature themes, gore, and partial nudity it has. It's not your typical good vs evil shounen show and instead has an intriguing dystopian sci-fi/cyberpunk setting. One of my favorite shows without generic or over the top anime tropes.

Yep, everything is Nina's fault, but Ohgi is trying hard for the "my least favourite character award" too. Rolo's death was done brilliantly, but the way everyone let the prince dictate the pace of the conversation felt like a questionable choice from the Black Knights. I guess it just shows how much they've relied on Zero up till this point. btw, the guy who reported to Toudou was talking about the lab where the kids with the geass were

i hate the reasoning behind hte betrayal, i mean sure he geassed all thsoe people so what? other than the 2 JLF members why do they care about random brittanians, especially the ones that they thought swapped sides? theyre right the geass is a weapon to use against brittania and hey if theyre worried about being used on them well orange boy can cancel it. also agreed the recording can be fabricated easily so thats not solid evidence either. yeah hes a prince but he hates britannia the old guy from kyoto told them he could be trusted and had a real reason to fight brittannia so his lineage as stated shouldnt matter. idk why ohgi hates lelouch for capturing villeta? guesss what he hid that from zero first so its technically his fault. what about the massacre of the children? well he said it was a military research facility and it was and they were experimenting on children soldiers, that also happened to have geass, and they were fighting back so it may seem horrible but it was valid. the only damning evidence is him ordering the japanese massacre. there literally nothing concrete its all circumstantial. As for why lelouch reverts to being a dick, thats a self defense/coping mechanism thats actually quite common in people who dont want to be a problem for others or get other involved with their own issues. they push people away in order to protect and shoulder everything themselves.
