Taylor performed Me in Vegas at an awards show, and she was amazing. It's worth a look :-)

Her live version - super Saturdays-of “I don’t wanna live forever” as a sort of duet with the crowd is a must see! And her “Delicate” MV is adorable and hilarious ❤️

Cornelia Street is still too difficult for me to listen to without getting choked up 😭 Lover was the first album I started listening to full Swift albums on because these stripped, acoustic versions just DREW ME IN! Lover was so much a celebration of Joe and their love and the beginning of my personal journey with her music, so it's really so frikking heartbreaking to reflect on now. Especially with the frikking incredible 4 years of music that would still come from that relationship. Watching this performance now feels like looking back on one of your favourite book or TV series heroines and knowing how heartbroken she is going to be in a few years time. It just SUCKS! It's like that episode of I had the same hopes for characters like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Claire from Outlander (books at that time) and Aeryn Seun from Farscape and Laura Ingalls Wilder throughout the book series and just having your heart break for them when things were bad. And this is SO much worse because Taylor is a real person 😭 but I also really believe in hearing her experiences through the lens of her songwriting about these issues. Not through gossip or tabloids. One thing that I think she started fully during her relationship with Joe is the theme of love being a home/a house/a favourite apartment/the lakes they loved to to on holiday to/their favourite parks and restaurants/Cornelia Street/the light in that apartment that they loved/their hometown/their homeland/etc... That their love was as much a metaphorical home as it was the physical places that they went to... So when she sings "remember looking at this apartment, we loved it cause of the light" in You're Losing Me, or is heartbroken that he could take someone new to a favourite drinking spot in the Black Dog or, worst of all, says "I'm just mad as hell cause I loved this place" and reminisces over "a moment of warm sun" in So Long London, she isn't just saying that use is sad that she will never get to enjoy that city again. She is saying that their love was her home. Her favourite place...even if just for a moment, and she'll never be able to walk through it again 😭😭😭😭😭 Exploring someone's life through the literacy analysis they use to describe it is absolutely incredible. Sorry for the essay, this line of thought has been growing on me since TTPD & The Anthology came out.

You are going to absolutely crazy seeing her live. No voice for days after. You need to dress up, I think you would need a 22 tshirt (order it online)

Luke if you’re wanting a video with Taylor not involving singing, you should react to “73 Questions With Taylor Swift” produced by Vogue
