Personally I prefer the episodes when it comes out, I'll watch them right after seeing it to revive it. Sometimes I come back to see several episodes at once that I missed or didn't watch when they came out, but I prefer them separately so I can watch them at my own pace and a lot of information is important in the episodes where there is less action. I watch mainly on patreon, but that applies to the episodes that I watch on YouTube to, from my point of view it is possible that certain episodes are less viewed when they are released but that the number of views increases when a more exciting episode comes out. I'm not a YouTuber, I could be wrong, but that's my habit of how I watch.

The reactions are great, I also prefer the world building element of Slime. Regardless of an interesting thing to react to, your way of viewing everything is entertaining despite the less energetic episodes.

Slime is interesting because of the story and politicking. I enjoy seeing how reactors see the maneuvering and stuff. I was actually super disappointed you did Slime as a Twitch stream instead of proper reactions, since the Twitch streams is more you talking to chat than sharing your thoughts on what's going on.

Yeh regarding the reaction timing etc….. I mentioned it at a different video, I wondered about the timing of the upload. I’m one of those who would watch it first from CR in full screen, so I don’t particularly wait for these video to watch it together with the reactor like the reply I got when I last mentioned it, so I wondered out loud whether a different release sequence will do better or not, like 3 days later or few hours before the next ep…. Take this ep for example. We can all agree it’s a slower ep, and yes I enjoyed watching it the first time 30 minutes ago, but I find myself struggling going through it again in the same hour…. Sure I can wait 3 days and watch this, but the community and comments on these video dies out within 1-2 days and I really love the interaction in here…. So yeh dunno what is better, but here’s my two cents.

For me I honestly am watching the new season through your reactions. I think you actually help spice up these episodes. Additionally having read the LNs, I want to see the anime, but watching you enjoy them makes it more entertaining to me than watching on my own.

But also I think they've made some mistakes with arranging / pacing the start of this season. Individually I'm enjoying each episode but its been way too exposition heavy; there is PLENTY that is already set up / happening that they could be giving a bit more primary focus to while they sprinkle in all this new information.

Hi Luke! Don’t worry and please don’t push yourself trying to overreact when there is not much to say. We all enjoy watching these episodes together with you, even if they still plain for now. All I can say now is that they are building for what comes next. For example in this episode we have some outlines as: -The people coming to visit Rimuru and the party since he is officially a Demon Lord. -The Tengu village. -Clayman castle ruins. -The crystal ball and Rimuru’s message to the church. -The incoming war in Falmuth. -Geld worries and Rimuru being a Japanese senior/coworker(okay let’s drink!…). 💦 -And the most important thing of all！ Shion making the same face as us every time a difficult discussion is in place lol

Shows that go deep into the worldbuilding or character development can for sure suffer from pacing issues, which is why I prefer to consume shows like Slime as LNs. You get through these sections much faster if you're reading them, so they don't feel like a departure from the main story.

Honestly, if I watched these episodes on my own I probably wouldn't come back to also watch the reaction, but as it is now I'm just watching it for the first time together with you. There are a few other animes this season that I would rather see you react to than this but I'm perfectly fine with slime if that's what other people want.

I'm completely with you. I would prefer that these kind of on going anime reactions would be delayed by 1-3 days from the release. I will never watch the reaction first. I will always want to watch it on my own and formulate my own opinions and then come here and watch it with Luke and get sometimes different perspective on things. I do my best to watch those episodes on my own as soon as possible and put anything and everything in between that and the reaction to get a bit of breathing room and for these kind of slower episodes not make me bored because of that.

But wouldn't there be a lot influencing people such as you who have read the source material before and pretty much know the story already. It's not like you have prewatched it already, but it's pretty close to that. As someone who has not seen any of the materials before hand, I heavily prefer to watch it by my self at first and then come back to the reaction.

I will say that I am watching these new episodes for the 1st time with you and enjoying it far more then if I watched it alone and I’d assume a lot are doing the same so I really enjoy it and love hanging out for these

I am fine with you doing the reactions one by one. I actually enjoy how Tensura spends a few episodes building the story and world. I can see how some might not be for everyone but I think you will find those who enjoy slime but don’t want to watch the slower episodes at first may binge them later.

Keep watching weekly. Remember that people hyped this season up, so while it's slow right now, it presumably is going to get more reaction worthy soon. Even if it doesn't, if you love this show and really enjoy it, then we want you to be able to watch it and enjoy it weekly. If you're not enjoying it, or feeling uncomfortable / stressed about the viewership / slower pace of the episodes then if you feel like you should wait and do a bulk watch of episodes, then do that. I know we dictate the channels contents, but we want you to enjoy the content too. So if the lack of reaction content is making you enjoy it less, change things up. Otherwise keep watching weekly and enjoy one of your favourite Isekai.

Your reactions here, on Patreon/YouTube, are much preferred (by me) to your reactions on Twitch, which is mostly just you answering chat and pausing every five seconds to thank someone (not saying they should not be thanked, but it really makes the reactions infinitely longer). I like hearing your thoughts, and while I do get a lot of that on Twitch, it's better paced here. I did not mind this episode, but your commentary really helps spice it up a little bit. And sorry I don't contribute to Youtube, but my time is stretched pretty far as it is. I can't watch a reaction here and on YouTube, so I just watch here since I'm a member. Take that for what you will because I'm not really sure I had a point.

I look at your reaction videos as me watching a series with someone. Whether the episode is action packed or just dialogues, it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, having someone to watch the show with is more fun than watching it by myself.

your question on youtube was formulated as: "SOLO LEVELING is ending tomorrow... So... Should 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime' takeover the Saturday anime slot from Solo Levelling? 👀👀" KEEP IN MIND you literally picked the show we had no other picks. I wanted konosuba myself. It's almost important to add that not every show was 'out' when you asked, so putting the 'views' on perspective doesn't make sense. Usually if u care about the views I think picking a show that did well on 2nd channel with 'viewers and subscribers' FROM 2nd channel expecting to do as well as there on main channel it's a weird topic. I do ask myself sometimes how important is the 'timing' of something. For e.g as a viewer that I like to 'rewatch stuff', I found that certain series are boring if you watch them as they are airing (Same season), but they are GREAT if you do it before the next season comes out. For example Re:zero is in my opinion GOOD because many of us want to 'rewatch' and the reason for rewatch is season 3. Demon slayer if you started it in february, it would've done well, but since you will start it after the new season, I expect less views cuz most people that catch up for the new season to remember, are people who already rewatched and will be up to date. And the next batch to rewatch will be before final season. Attack on titan worked well cuz many wanted to rewatch and you started it before the 'new season'. Overlord will have a movie this year so people will rewatch in preparation for the new season. Maybe my argument is bad but I believe that's how people mind's work. So since the 'new season is out', then there's less reason to watch to 'rewatch' since.. you're up to date as you're watching season 3... There's the other argument that "yes it might be boring to rewatch talking for 20 min". There's that meme: reincarnated as a TALKING slime. IDK yet but I feel like starting a series is probably important to look at least to that part of the conversation.

You do you, whatever you think is best for your schedule and your wallet. Personally, I think episodes like this one are the reason Slime is so much better than most anime adaptations of stories. Episodes like this make the characters feel more realistic, it shows that there is a world that exists outside of our awareness, and makes for an overall higher quality series.
