Many new and old technical challenges was overcome in at this set.
The most demanding was no doubt the water. But that is something I will talk more about after the animation has come out to relate better with what was made.

In the image under, I did not really find a water addon that worked out like I wanted, so I had to come up with some tricks to make it come out the way it did for the over and underwater shots.

The mist played a crucial role in naturally limiting the scenes visible distance.

For the underwater shot, the Ice needed to be extruded and then given a distortion to behave correctly with the suns light.
Ass you also can see, I had to assist the sun with 3 extra lamps to give her the perfect contrast underwater as seen in one of my ref pictures here.

That also spawned a new challenge, airbubbles.
Luckily, Braatwaathe had a solution, so while he came up with how to solve it, I added a little easter eel.

I selected the bubbles here so you can get an idea just how many was needed for realism. Lagged out my viewport.
The white uhm sword like objects are actually volumetric assists to sunrays for that extra god ray effects.

here are the indivudual handmade ice particles I scattered around the scene.

The ice looks excellent! Just look at how much more it gives to the scene.
Distorts perfectly too, just like the rest.

Predator vision activated! Actually, its a false color toggle, I sometimes use it if I can't quite put my finger on whats off. Looks cool tho.

Leave you with a sneakpeak into next artwork! Not sure about angle just yet.

Yeah, the 2022 technical downtime is over. The creative and productive time is here. And I have a lot of promises to do good on.
