Behind the Scenes - Drakefeller part 3 End (Patreon)

Last part of the behind the scenes.
Originally scheduled for last week, here it is!
Above, you can see the prosess of just a single piece of jewlery Njorijanna was using in the latest artwork gathering her hair. I used multires here to make the prop, watching some reference photo of traditional norse ornaments but keeping my touch on it.

Then there was the alternate pose of Njori, but after some consideration, back and forth with team it was saved in her pose library for something else. For Njori in this particular angle did not give that wow factor like the other pose did.

Here are some personal references of the scene I used to build the Drakefeller cabin. Though you might find it interesting.

The proud pillars also took some work. starting from a simple post to a true norse relic. A reference on the left from a gorgeous woodcarving.

Speaking of woodcarving, the Drakefeller chair was one of a kind chair, what I had in mind needed some ref to carve it out properly, and after some days it came out real nice. I ended up changing some part of its in the final render like adding Odins face under the dragonheads instead of using the Y rune.
The backplate is suposed to resemble Odin and his two raves Hugin and Munin.

Had a full render of the sword with some test glows, I was so happy with the outcome I just had to render it alone with that wicked background just for safe keeping before the moment is gone.

Somewhat technical outro, here you can see the struggles of trying a new braid technique from an addon, but ended up not working at all so we reverted to the old method, which I might add needed some tweaking but we sure pulled it off right?
