Hey!
Finally I'm working fulltime at Lustgard!

COWGIRL TIME! Awwwyiss!
What a workout for my 3D skill this past year have been, I want to show everyone that we are back in business and ready to drop some hefty eyecandy babes soon!

First off is a scene I wanted to do since forever, and I think it fits perfectly with what have been done behind the scenes of Lustgard.
So lets start with a hosedown of Njorijanna after a tough day in the sun at the farm!
Yeehaw!

The past weeks I have done what would have taken months if I did not have the chance to sit at home working on the it day in and day out. So now!

I've solved the colossal jiggle system puzzle.
I will explain it simple...

Njorijannas jiggle system was affected by time and space, as she was moving forward, her heavy muscles and fat had a drag to it, I simply could not figure out how to eliminate it completly, cause it had to have weight, but such weight had drag.
Adding to that, there was an error with these jiggle elements that did not follow movements like the butt lifting when the leg goes backwards, and lastly the motion of the muscles and fat seemed to go inwards resulting in many issues too like loss of volume/total body mass/weight.

But thanks to many days of tinkering, I figured it all out!
As you can see in this GIF or the video in attachments, the butt behaves perfectly and there is 0% loss of volume!!! Open the champagne!
That means, I'm done... I now have for the first time a fully working jiggle system that can do all poses(perfct deform), all movements like running, walking, fighting and... Coitus...

It have taken a year, but I had to do it, I was not aware it would take this long... But, I will make good on all my promises of content and animations.
Now starts the era of creativity and entertainment.

Kind regards
Alluringsteed

It's all looking absolutely amazing! Thanks for all the hard work!

Tuume

These all look tight! Congrats on your continued progress, and thanks for all the hard work.

Dunks

Congrats on full time! Super excited to see where this WIP ends up!

Marksicree

Njorijanna as a cowgirl? Hell yeah! Let see her working up a good sweat on those farm fields and getting a good ol’ outdoor wash-down.

KungWhew

These look amazing! But is there any update on the shower animation?

LustGard

Thanks! Yeah, had trouble with mocap recordings. Talked with rokoko, and they are aware of the issue with hand to head elevation, they released a fix some weeks back, will have to redo the mocap session with the VA. Then we can see njori in such a long animation, right now its impossible to fix such a lengthy animation, since its mocap data, its so dense in keyframes.

KungWhew

Ahh ok. Hey sometimes things happen. Good luck to you though! It's all coming together so nicely!

Goya

Hi! new subscriber here, marveling at your work! Do you have any free course suggestions for novice blender users like myself? In particular animation and materials? I've taken a class but it all still feels very intimidating to me

LustGard

Hey Goya! Thank you! I have no courses yet, but many have asked, and I have been thinking about making it one day. At the moment, I'm up to my ears in work to try make a living out of my universe. As for an aspiring artist as yourself, It is much about the tools we use, just as traditinal artists. I would recommend using Blender, it is free, and its what I'm using, there are no courses officially. But I have a tutorial that helped me a great deal. Check out the human tutorial on blendermarket https://blendermarket.com/products/human-realistic-portrait-creation-with-blender As for the cloth, I use marvelous designer, it cost a pretty penny, but the results are breathtaking. I do all my outfits in there. The props I cannot buy for what I envisioned in my artwork, I photoscan, so for shoes, common items etc. I used learned photoscanning, since i personally find it mindblowing to make all assets from scratch oneself. So much of the props you see on set are actually items I bought with the income for the sole purpose to use in Lustgard. Maybe they will be up for sale one day. ("Virtuality" gamer artwork") As for blender, out of the box its okay, but I recommend going once again on blender market and spend some hundreds of dollars on various addons. I have addons for a ton of things, not all active at once, but when I need them, like nature addons ("Welcome to lustgard poster") Then there is learning, Andrew Price on youtube is a great guru and teacher, seen hundreds of hours of his content and others. If you have a problem with blender, use google and YT. No other 3d software comes close to having such a large and helpful community. most other 3d software are hiding behind hefty paywalls. Hope that helped. Kind regards, Alluringsteed.

I might also add. Art is something that is hard to just learn, I take inspiration from lots of things, but with Lustgard in mind. You have to ultimatly like your own artwork and look forward to doing it. Don't see it as a job, see it as a passion. You can create content for game studios and tons of things in 3D, my calling was forging my own path and bring my universe to life. How things end up on camera (artwork) is often by total accident, and after spending time in the scene i made, I feel my way towards the final shot. You can take some learning from Bourdoir photography. But it has to be you touch, your personality that flavour it. If I grew up 10 years later or earlier, my artwork might not have been so 90s inspirated, but I love that era. I want to relive it. So all artists give a piece of their soul away each time. All until we are but dust.

Goya

thank you sm for this thorough response! Luckily I am using Blender as well! I'll be sure to check these resources out!
