Hello Lustgardians!

I was not happy with the Jessica Rabbit renders I did.
Posing over and over, nothing looked good enough. So it got me thinking on a deeper level than most of the time, we are talking meaning of life level.

After some walks in the forest with a fever, looking at my own face in small stream, I saw how my eyes glittered in the deep blue waters. Then it hit me like lightning. We need new eyes for Njori!
I rolled down the hill like a possessed steed all the way to my study, hit the forge! Actually I bought a pair of photorealistic eyes from cgtrader.com, straight out of the box they look terrible, like most stuff does with stock settings, but after a day of tweaking both mesh(3d) and shader wise, I got it. The images are grainy but it works. Will be crystal clear in renders. Also tested out some various colors for you all to see. She was looking soooo good with this new clever eye design. And by the gods was brown eyes gorgeous, just look at those warm welcoming eyes. This also set in movement a new quest. EYES!!!

I had to do some more research before redoing anything on Njorijanna.
So after reading up on the "organ" eyes, I learned that eyes does not become larger the taller you are, it stays for the most part the same size, speaking of size, eyes actually stops growing around the age of 15. So that is why tall people often seem to have tiny facial features compared to someone at 150cm. The tall person would still have the same eye size as the 150 cm chick. BUT! certain factors as total head size would increase, telling us that a tall chick will have tiny eyes, nose and mouth compared to the rest of the face or compared to the more proportionate lady at 150cm which will seem to have larger eyes, nose and mouth. The avarage eye is in fact only 25mm - 27mm in diameter.

So with this newfound information I adjusted the width of Njorijannas eye sockets(outer ring inwards towards the nose to keep her face the same), to have these new anatomically correct eyes inserted perfectly into the skull. She was not only looking better than ever, but the eyes was more advanced and easier to get good results with. So yeah, now you know more about eyes too, or not. But I certainly learned something helpful.

Now back to work on Jessica Rabbit!

Good work...you're absolutely right. Brown eyes really look best on her. But green looks also very good
