Illness update and what's going on. (Patreon)

So, I went to the doc, and I have tonsilitis. From how I'm fucking feeling right now, I'm guessing it's a nasty goddamn case. I'm struggling a little just sitting at my desk without feeling too tired, I can't swallow without wincing in pain, and breathing burns terribly through both my nose and throat. Essentially, it feels like I was accosted by an acid monster, and forced to deep throat him as he sapped my soul. I have no voice, and have to speak to Xan through discord because speaking causes me to cough or choke.

What's even worse is that, despite me now getting my medication, Xan is now sick as well. This is a wee bit personal, but Xan has a disease that makes him very weak, and his body unable to fight off illnesses. A way to understand this would be assuming that however you're feeling and how an illness is interacting with you, Xan will get it 4-5X worse. I'm not sure how this is going to go for him, but I pray that he's going to be okay.

Here is the important question: How will this effect JOIGang?

1 - The Live JOI on the 15th is canceled.
This is probably obvious, but if I don't have a voice and Xan is too ill to even sit upright, then I can't do the live JOI that week. We need to both be around in order to make those go smoothly. However, if you have a Live One on One, and my voice has returned, it may be likely that I may be able to do it on my own after he shows me how to set it up. But this is very much in the MAYBE category, considering that my voice is only getting worse at the moment.

2 - This month's JOI might be a little bit late.
Thankfully, we're always a little ahead of the game, but we were still in the middle of editing. We never have a set time for these things, but you might find things are a tad bit later than normal. Likely only by a day or two.

3 - I might just vanish for the next week after I heal, and not be that active.
I will need to be able to catch up by to our usual schedule. This means that my ass will be on full speed writing and voice acting as physically fast as possible. My appearances in the community will be sparce for a little bit.

So yes, just a big update on the going's on. If anything better or worse happens, I will absolutely let you all know. We try not to take large breaks or even to delay things, because we want to have a very set schedule that our patrons can rely on. It feels bad to delay or cancel anything after having not a single month where we canceled any content before. We're really sorry about all of this, and thank you so much for sticking with us.
