[May] Rewards Sent! +General Life Update (Patreon)

I'm sure you all know by now but May's rewards have been sent out to anyone who was a patron during the month of May! Up next, some heavier topics and such so like, read if you want haha 😅

TL;DR - Gonna officially stop doing image sets (but will probably sneak some in every now and then cause they can be fun), Still gonna keep my 3 base 2 bonus illustration model, Mostly doing this so I can free up some mental processing time to other projects/commissions once I get ahead of the game again!

So! Some things! First of all, sorry for being so late this month. I was on a roll with getting things done on time for a couple months and then May hit and I hit a wall. A big part of it was the emotionally taxing events of, well, everything, but part of it too was just how I was looking at my own art. I think I need to make some changes in how I look at Patreon going forward.

I've been talking about phasing out image sets for a while now and I've mostly been holding out because, well, everyone does image sets, y'know? Like Image Sets are so quintessentially NSFW Patreon and it's hard to not make them cause it sometimes feels like I'm expected to make them. If I'm being honest a lot of the time it's actually pretty fun showing a progression through variants but other times it can be limiting. Sometimes I draw something and when it comes to making variants it just... makes me not want to work on it anymore which happened a lot with May's pack if I'm being honest 😅

It kinda just feels like I'm spinning my wheels and going nowhere...  Like, when I draw thinking more about making an illustration I work so much more efficiently than when I draw trying to come up with how an image can have variants? So! For the sake of my sanity I'm going to say no more image sets? But I mean, I'll probably still end up making image sets.
I'm hoping you all can understand and will enjoy what I make, despite the reduced number of variants that'll be coming your way on the average 😔 I'll still be making my minimum 3 base illustrations with 2 bonus illustrations for my OG Ride or Die crew though! As far as posting onto Patreon, most of my posts tend to lean on the WIP side of things and I wanna keep all WIPs for $5+ tiers so there probably won't be too much actual posts for $1 patrons. But worry not! You'll still get rewards through DMs as per usual! I just thought I'd mention this cause a lot of $1 patrons leave cause I don't make a lot of Patreon posts for y'all 😅

The last thing I wanted to touch on is that I really wanna get back into commissions! The biggest reason I haven't done commissions in literally like 2 years now is that I always felt like I had to put all my attention on making image variants and I want more of that time to make more illustrations instead! So, hopefully I'll be able to change my way of thinking about Patreon rewards and hopefully it'll open up my mind to work on other things. (Including celebrating 40k over on Twitter!!)

Anyhow, that's generally how I've been feeling lately and I hope y'all understand why I'm changing up how I run my Patreon. It generally shouldn't be much change overall but I just wanted to word vomit all my thoughts out.
