Project 12 (Gawr Gura) - Update 1 - 07/22/2023 (Patreon)

Hi guys!

It's been around 2 weeks since my last WIP update. I'm mostly dealing with youtube last week, alongside other socials as well. With that said, I'm going to give an update about my next Project, Gawr Gura.

Gura's design is quite simple, yet it harnessed a lot of subscribers in a matter of days since her debut. One of Hololive and Niji's most peculiar design approaches is that Holo members tend to have simpler models yet deliver the biggest punch. Niji has better models, but most EN livers are having difficulty reaching one million subs. This could serve as a study case to help talents maximize their potential and understand that it takes more than the quality of the Vtuber models for streamers to make it to the seven figures. I still love Niji livers, though. No hard feelings. I have to admit that Niji has better models and more passion for it.

I have already finished texturing Gura. Rigging and Shape Keys would still take some time. The background location would still be the same, just as I mentioned in the previous updates. I would probably set it to "night" to give that different feeling to the background. I'm still scratching my head about the concept since it's getting closer to the end of the month. But I guess the theme would be a quickie.

Besides that, I'm also creating the continuation of Project 7 (Finana). The ship still sails! But also, pretty much everyone is down bad towards Selen at this point so its canon status remains inconclusive.
