Hi guys,

I'm going to give a briefing about the next project.

For the next Project, I'm going to make Ninomae Ina'nis from Hololive. Yeah, I'm taking a break from making Niji content this month. But don't worry, I'll return to making Niji content next month. It isn't the only holo girls that I make though. The first real project that I have ever done is Ouro Kronii.

Ina's design is noticeably easier than other Projects that I've done before. I would probably put her as the second easiest besides Selen. However, the biggest problem that I have encountered when creating her is that her hair follows a simplistic design. On top of that, her side hair (the tentacle-jello hair) needs to be naturally integrated into the simplistic hairstyle. I've spent most of day 5 figuring out how do I do this. Unfortunately, my efforts were to no avail.

Other artists primarily used CEL Shading to deal with Ina's hair problem. There are two ways to achieve this. The first one is using the Genshin method, which means that I need to personally paint all of the texture in 2D software. Unfortunately, this method is quite time-consuming and I highly doubt that I could even finish all of the needed textures for all models in 1 month.

The other method is using gloss BSDF, Math Multiply, and Colorramp to connect it to the Principled BSDF. I have not tried this method since I spent most of my time integrating all the hair and making it flat.

I might need several days to figure out how to solve this problem or keep it as it is. Whether I will adapt CEL Shading or keep using Fresnel-based, Principled BSDF remains inconclusive. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this week's progress!
