I didn’t realise how much I was head banging until the edit and I saw the state of my hair lmao. Unfortunately 2 of the music videos from this reaction are blocked on YouTube, so when I upload it, I’ll have to put that stupid blurry thing over it.. I hope people don’t mind. Not that this applies to you guys anyway since you get the unedited versions! ENJOY! 🤎

Yeah. You’d definitely like their song “Lost,” from a lyrical perspective, a musical perspective, and the music video is great!! Same with their song “Strangers.” Both of those songs have lyrics that I believe you would connect to deeply.

This is just what I’d do in your position to attack checking out bring me. I’d do an album listen through of Sempiternal. It’s probably the most popular with fans and it basically brought them into the mainstream of modern rock/metal. Also the album is a basically a journal of Oli’s addiction issues. Then worth checking out the medley of old songs they did live. Gives you a good impression of what they were like at first but playing it once they’d matured and grown up a bit. And love to check out is their show at Royal Albert hall with a full orchestra. Just awesome! Maybe another album review of That’s the spirit. My personal fav album, it built on the success of sempiternal really and has some undeniable bangers. But you can tell you’re starting to experiment with some non rocky sounds in there. Amo in my opinion gets unfair stick. There’s defo good songs on there but it pushed the boat out a lot. So much so they wrote a song on it called Heavy metal which is basically a piss take of fans who hated them going for a different sound. My personal fav song on that album is Nihilist blues, in my opinion it’s ageing well. In Oli’s own words it was an album about love and aimed at getting people into rock in a palatable way. No other album has the lead singer of Cradle of Filth and Grimes as 2 guests. But it works. The next phase is part one of the post human phase. You’ve heard the likes of Parasite Eve. Lots of talking about current world shenanigans. Again, strong with their collaborations. Obey with yungblud, 1x1 with nova twins (a band defo worth checking out) and this more Ballard style song with Amy Lee (evanescence singer). Dear diary is defo more of a throwback to old old bring me, but done with the nuance they’ve added by growing up. Then you’re onto post human: next gen, which is the line of songs now. Lost defo worth a check out. Fantastic video too! Strangers also very good. Can’t wait till the full album is out. Hopefully this year at some point. Enjoy delving into Bring me even more! They’re sickkkk 😝
