I'm glad to see you continuing with Kingdom. There are such massive performances here, and the behind-the-scenes look at the processes and personalities made the performances that much more special to me. I think any time there's a change in the dynamic -- like moving from doing things solely on your own to doing them in a group -- you get excited for the new experience, but I feel like sometimes it's easiest and indeed more productive when you do what works best, which may not be the excitement of a group. Minhyuk has been doing this a long time, so I get when he says that sometimes its more for work than it is for fun like this, and I think 3Racha have opportunities to do things with the music they produce that the others don't necessarily have, simply because they _were_ an established group before debut, and because they don't necessarily have to go through all the layers and steps and protocols that the group does as a whole. For instance, Hong Joong has released half a dozen channel-only solo projects, where his group members are just now releasing their first. We got first solo covers from Wooyoung, and Yeosang this year, and a second one from Seonghwa. They aren't on an album because they're largely covers (Mingi's recent release is original, and all him), but they exist. And side note that I think having Mingi here would have just been so sweet for this track. His energy is so different. Minhyuk, as you know, raps as HUTA, and his Boom was from his second solo release. It did quite well at highlighting his unique style and talents. I really liked Full Dash because of its wordplay -- check it out via viki, because they translated the lyrics -- and that it allowed all three members to be free and do what they wanted. I think it was an important experience for Sunwoo and Hwiyoung because they have the group dynamic which isn't necessarily their choice of sounds/concepts for their raps. To choose, to write, to do what they wanted was more important than winning, and honestly at this point in the competition, every time the fan scoring goes up you can easily tell what direction the competition was going to take. So I applaud them for embracing this opportunity for what it was. Looking forward to your reactions to the rest of the series.
