So, I do use references, but a lot of the time when I sit down to do figure drawings, I like to do them from my imagination as a way to test my memory. When I study references, the goal for me is to remember how things look and to memorize the lines that I'm making. So these were done without any reference as are many of the poses I share, but I ALWAYS have a reference book open in front of me when I draw as well as having my phone open to pinterest or Twitter and IG. I mainly like to study the "Masters of Anatomy" books. I owe like 90% of what I know to those books.
