Happy Aug 1st everyone!

To be honest - I hate the 1st and 2nd of every month because my head and my heart go on a bit of a rollercoaster of emotion as Patreon processes everything and their numbers fluctuate WILDLY and in places that don't even make sense. I'm going to give you a little peek behind the curtain here on Patron numbers...

Somehow our Jan-June patron numbers have all gone down by mostly double-digit numbers,  when all of that was already processed months ago. According to the numbers at this moment while writing the post, our June breaking of the 500 Patron goal never happened (32 of you folks became a retroactive accounting error?), and even though we were at 647 patrons last night, and had 57 cancellations in the month (so should be at 590) we're at... 545. That's another 55 patrons MIA in the records. And getting answers from Patreon support is pretty much impossible.

So yeah, hopefully the numbers right themselves a bit over the next 48 hours. And this is why I don't like logging into Patreon on the 1st or 2nd.

I'm still working on the Double OFG release followed by AMA - I had a rough and busy day yesterday with an entirely non-concerning but annoying-as-hell medical thing that's been making it hard to concentrate on creative stuff since the weekend. There will also be a big August 1-Year Update post coming soon, probably late on the 3rd early on the 4th once the numbers are settled.

That's it for now - I hope you're all surviving the heat!

Cheers,
~Break.

I was off the rolls yesterday b/c I had a fraudulent charge & messed up entering the new one.

I dont recieve my paycheck until the fourth/fifth of the month, so when Patreon tries to charge me on the 1st I dont always have enough money in my account for it to go through. Maybe thats a reason for MIA patreons?

It looks like this month there was some sort of major issue on Patreon's end (possibly due to switching a banking service) - lots of reports from folks of declined/flagged charges, and also issues with Payouts for creators on the other end too. I think I've also tracked that the backend software changing the previous months numbers is directly tied to those declined folks as well - as people have been rejoining, those numbers have been slowly creeping back up. That all being said, I SUPER appreciate you supporting me, but I also want to make sure you all are taking care of yourselves before me! If ever you're on a tight budget, please make sure to take care of yourself first!
