Poll: Patreon Goals Update (Patreon)

So I've mentioned this before - I think the Patreon Goals need to be updated. When I first set them up a year ago the Patreon (and my life) looked very different. The series that are occurring now are different than what I thought they would be back then, and I've also gotten a little bit of feedback here and there that's made me question them further.

The Current Goals
- $3,500 CAD: Art commissions for patron-voted characters
- $5,000 CAD: Begin producing an original erotica comic
- $7,500 CAD: Tentative - commission a cosplayer to cosplay a character

Looking back, and to explain my thinking a little bit, when I decided on the Character Art I thought that my 'Erection of the Runelords' story would be ongoing and a great story to do character art for. Fantasy, and SciFi, stories make a lot more sense for Character Art in my opinion because the art can help establish more about the world, and also give more life to non-real things. Character Art for any of the current series makes less sense because, at the end of the day, all the characters a People and not something outside our day-to-day experiences.

The Comic, as I mentioned in my start-of-year update, is still a big one on my To Do list. I love comics, both traditional and indie comics. I even love really good erotica comics, whether they are sex-first or plot-first. Now, the expense of comic creation is fairly large - likely once this goal is reached we would start with writing a script and locking down an artist, then do a month of character development, then start by commissioning 1 page of art per month and then raise that as the artist and funding is available. It would be a Slow Burn project over months. Before any of that though we would see a Patron vote on the genre of story, and maybe a couple of core plot ideas, to establish things.

The Cosplayer idea is wild, and somewhat like the Character Art commissions would lend itself better to a Fantasy or SciFi character, or a character from the Comic. I have no idea what the actual cost of something like this would be, so it would likely be a crowd project for folks to suggest models/cosplayers that might be interested in me reaching out to them.

Other Ideas

I think having some goals for Patreon is a good thing. It helps us with a sense of progress and celebrates milestones of growth. They should also ADD to the community, both by providing something you Patrons will enjoy while also helping spread the word to bring other folks into the community. That being said, I have some other ideas for potential goals:

- An Illustrated Story: Split the difference between Character Art and a Comic, I could write a one-shot story designed to be paired with illustrations of particularly dramatic/hot scenes. Patron-voted Genre, etc. If people like it we could do more.

- An Audiobook: A new story to try out working with Narrators to produce an original work. Could be in Audiobook form, or an 'Audio Drama' like a stage/radio play. Could be a Male-narrator, Female-narrator, or even both (though that would be more expensive). If people like it we could do more.

- Erotic Poetry: I'm not a poet by any means, so this is more of a silly idea than anything. I'll study up a bit and try my hand at some erotic and romantic poetry.

- Guest Stories: I could reach out to other writers to work with them on a guest story connected to one of the series. Might be a straight-up commission, or more of a partnership where I help plot and act as editor for them.

- A whole ass cartoon: OK, this is ridiculous. Like, a hundred thousand dollars at least for a goal, but it would be pretty rad to make a 20min erotica/action cartoon. An actual porn scene would cost less. Don't vote for this.

I'm open to other ideas, so if you've got them feel free to suggest them! (Note: A Discord Server does not need to be a goal, I'm working on it already)
