0.4.9.9a (Patreon)

Howdy! Here’s what’s up:

The deadline “sometime this week” was self-imposed by Moana. She wanted it to push her and specifically requested that I'd mention it in my last post. She did that to herself already, before the 0.4.9.9 release and it helped out a lot, this time was no different.

I’d like to mention that both the shower event and the new Mother event had some unique technical challenges:

Shower event uses the “cut-in” animation - Moana had to manually code every layer to appear on screen in sync.

And the “Mother Preg” event heavily utilizes the “zoom” feature - Moana had to code in all 200+ pictures 3 separate times.

That last bit about the need to code all pictures 3 times - is something we didn’t know. It came up this week and it’s the direct result of us doing this kind of event for the first time (you’ll see what I mean once you’ll play it).

If you liked the “cut-in” animation in the Shower then you’ll definitely like the “zoom” animation in the “Mother” event, but please keep in mind that this kind of stuff requires a lot of extra effort.

Now, I’m saying all this for a reason - I want to know your opinion on this matter.

Is it worth it? Do you like our new mini-animations enough to justify us spending more time on their implementations?

Apart from that, I’m already working on 0.4.9.9b, which will be centered around NPC’s artworks and then we’ll move on with the main plot in v0.5.

- Layered Shower events

       - 270 new pictures

       - 22 edited pictures

- Added “dirt removal” shower mini-animation (lather, body writings, milk, cum)

- New “Mother Pregnancy” Vivarium event

       - 30 pages of script

       - 235 pictures

       - This event gives Kira “Pregnancy” fetish.

- Added “Pregnancy fetish” to the game

       - Unlocks more “pink text” in relevant Vivarium events (in random “Nelson” H-event etc.)

Once again, I really would like to know your opinion on our new mini-animations (cut-in in the shower, zoom in Mother preg event), are they worth the extra effort?

Now that we’re done with the shower (for now) and implemented the missing Mother event, I’ll completely focus on the NPC’s and I’ll soon begin polling you all on their appearances.
