Progress Report (Patreon)

Howdy! Here’s what’s up: 

The plan remains the same, we want to release 0.4.8 on 24th. I’m layering events, doing various minor artworks for the farm and hoping that I’ll have enough time to draw even more npcs. And Moana continues to code everything I’ve mentioned in. 

This week will be pretty crunchy for us (it already is), but we intend to power through it. One of the reasons for that is the fact that I, together with some other princesses, intend to go on a small 4 day holiday (locally, I mean, according to all government rules, given my residence and current situation in the world). 

So, I’m being a little bit selfish here and pushing this update out, since I don’t want it to hang over my head. Worry not, I’m not abusing poor Moana, she also comes on said holiday, and agrees that it would be amazing if we’d manage to rest with clear heads. 

That said, we still need to finalize some things, including new outfit:

So, the skirt outfit won with 96 votes, against 68 for a third outfit and 54 for the first one. I’ve already picked the colors, as you can see in the teaser. 

The original skirt was “orange-ish” and it works well with the violet top. For white and cow-print tops I’ve made it more red, since red looks better to me with white. I did experiment with other colors, but it's a classic “checked skirt”, so it looks best in red tones. 

Some of our comrades didn’t approve of my fashion choices and believe that our new Farm npcs have a superior outfit - I have a small compromise, a “democracy part two”, if you will:

I can’t dress Kira as our “Imperator” character for technical reasons, but I can dress her as our new “Mother” character. 

All of the “Children of Veles” (nuns) are dressed like said “Mother”, so it makes sense that Kira, the new member of the tribe, will wear this outfit. 

So yea, we’re having another outfit poll. This one will end at the same time as our “color” poll. Since the “Mother” outfit is white, we don’t need to pick a color for it. 

For technical reasons we can’t add as many outfits as we’d like, we should be really careful with their quantity, otherwise RPG Maker might die on us. 

Now, here’s a final thing from our never ending list of tasks, the tattoo:

Note: Character art is not final, it’s just here to show you the tattoo. 

-First one is the sign of Veles; 

-Second one would work better as a “body art”, for maybe a movie poster later on, but I’ve thrown it into the mix. 

-Third one is a “quality” mark that was used in Soviet union. 

-Fourth one is a QR code, while we’ll most likely have a “barcode” tattoo at “new you”, this one also has a right to exist. 

-Fifth one is just a collection of the first three, for no particular reason. 

-Six one is degrading, and it means “fuckmeat”.

They all are meant to be a “brand”, and based on what fetishes you have “turned on” they will all mean the same things. 

Meaning, that regardless of what “brand” will win the poll - Kira will be recognised as a hucow, breeding stock or an animal on the farm and in the city (by some people), if she’ll have the “brand” of course. 

Overall, thank you all for your suggestions, I’ll still edit the winner a bit, when the poll will end. But they all will look, more or less, like on the teaser.  

So, in a nutshell: We’re doing our best to release the game on the 24th and right now I think we will manage to pull it off.
