Greetings fellow humans! Here’s what’s up:

I finally finished drawing random npcs for the gym. Now I just need to save their hands for each available breast size of Kira (they do the gropings) and test this out. I’ve also written more text - some worldbuilding, some “set-up” and some jokes. But more on that later.

What’s left to do is to save them properly - test it out, and that should be it. Honestly, I’ll stay away from drawing/writing new things this time

I don’t want to show the event with them, since I think I’ve already shown too much. But this is how they will look:

First one is Mr. Akulov - he’s a loan shark among other things. He’s the “bad” guy of this update, and an owner of a shady joint in City Center (it’s a strip club, sort of), he’ll give Kira his card which will serve as a start of a Strip Club sidequest in the future, though it won’t be the only way Kira will be able to access said club (eventually). There’s a whole different storyline involving prison, club and him - I’ve just decided to start it now, since I used this character in gym.

As for the random npcs, we had to make a tough choice regarding their faces. I’ve experimented with pixelated faces, masks, glasses, bandanas, literally anything that covers the face, but in the end we went a different route.

I initially wanted to cover their faces because you’ll see a lot of them, and it’s kind of weird that every person looks the same. But covering their faces will lead to the same result - you’ll still see the same character art over and over again, so there’s really no reason for me to hide their faces.

That's why, instead of choosing - we did both. Masked guys will explain why they’re wearing said mask, though you might guess why (based on their appearance and the nature of our game). This worldbuilding text is also a set-up for another quest you’ll get in the future.

Overall gym finally feels populated - it has three types of random npcs, three story npcs, vendor and a bunch of events. Of course we could do more for it, but I think that’s enough for now.

This update brings a lot of customization, worldbuilding and set-up for future quests. The game needs all of that, but we definitely made a mistake of doing all of this now and in one update

Even though the decision to do a big update instead of multiple smaller ones was wrong (and not planned), I think it’s too late for us to retreat and release what we have immediately. Because this would mean that our delay was completely pointless. And the only benefit of this type of an update - is that you’ll experience everything we wanted you to see, instead of placeholders/missing bits of content. Plus, we will be able to work on the farm without worrying about the gym.

In any case, we’re quite proud of this bad boy and we will release him as soon as we can, so you could finally (and hopefully) enjoy our new insane ideas! Thank you all for your support and patience, I assure you, the end is near!

Sounds good. Will reworked Darling training and Legion's 2nd event be in this next release?

freshmulan

Yep, thought Legions event didn't require much editing, it was pretty good to begin with:)

Thank you for the update, can't wait to hit the gym!

These NPCs look ridiculously good... too good! Can you change your resourcing from these amazing NPCs to detailed outfits for Kira?

Looks great so far. I'm very excited for the next update! Personally, I prefer bigger, less frequent updates than smaller frequent updates. With other games, ie A New Dawn, I tend to skip many of the smaller updates because what's the point? With this we'll get a ton of art updates, a couple new places to explore, new characters, new scenes, updated scenes, and a bunch of other unlisted stuff that will benefit the game overall and over the long term rather than in the short term. AKA, the way many excellent early access games roll out updates: AKA No Man's Sky. So far it's a great game, with a great developer. Also I really appreciate your consistent updates.

Thank you, I'll redo some outfits for Kira later on. Because I did them all at the same time - some of them are better than the others. I really don't like how Tolstoy's jacket looks for example. And with everything being layered now - it really won't be a problem:)

freshmulan

Thank you, but unfortunately not everyone thinks this way. On top of that, we need to release our updates more often to hopefully attract more patrons. So there is really no way we will continue with this bigger updates policy:(

I was expe to be slightly let down but after this I'm pretty excited for the upcoming release date, the npc's are looking good and I can't wait to see the new dialogue and the next misadventure of Kira.

We had a lot of fun coming up with our new dialogues, and I hope you'll like it:)

Love your work! I'm also super excited for the update! I was curious if we could get an idea of when the update will drop? Not a fixed date of course, however I'd be interested in getting a idea of when it'll be? Again love your work!
