Kal is gone for a day and I end up sick, which has me convinced Nurgle is treating him to some Guilliman-ism with regards to my personal health - sorry if that's too obscure a reference. Go read up on 8th Edition 40k lore and you'll get the joke X3

Anyway, I'm not going to let a little bug get too much in the way of my productivity, though I will be taking it a little slow for now, so what I'm going to try and do is clear my backlog of stuff I need to post, both publicly and here, and then begin to implement patreon changes I'd announced back in August.

I was somewhat prewarned through some channels about the changes to patreon's layout and messaging system and, much like Insomniac and some other creators, I'm not much thrilled by it, but it's the reality we're going to have to deal with for now.

I'll be cataloguing post material and be otherwise busy with getting myself sorted out again for the rest of the day, so have an Ayn doodle for now as a sign of life. As an added engagement, you can tell me whether you like me drawing Ayn more with my approximation of her original Fluff-style hair, or with the implied curls I do her with to more easily facilitate some of the compositional elements of her hairdo.

Expect more updates either later today or during the week.

I like both the styles for Ayn. It would kind of be nice to see a change like that every now and then, be it because of different occations the character finds herself in or simply because that's how the artist chose to draw it. Personally i'm very open when it comes to hair styles. For example i have seen my character drawn with hair spikes just like her hair should be, but there are also pictures of her with loose hair (whatever it's called). Hope you get well soon

Personally, I think I like the previous one better. Not by much though. And I agree with Tankana, it's nice to see different hairstyles for a character.

I suppose the future probably offers all kinds of interesting options for styling hair easily, so the argument of variation is entirely valid.

I suppose Fluff will be the final authority on what the hair is supposed to look like, but you make a valid point in that she has free range to adapt her hair as she needs or wants. I didn't know the things on her spine actually were hair, I thought they were more like quills, though I have seen variations in the art you've gotten, obviously :3
