Hello Cinders!!

Thank you all so much for your support! Here is a current list of this month's downloads, all design models (available exclusives and past models), and a bunch of helpful information! All in one easy post!

Patreon/Tribes subscribers will receive AT LEAST 3 DESIGNS A MONTH, and any public models at least 3 days early before they are released publicly.

Cinderwing3D uses MyMiniFactory as our archive for all past models. You will only have access to the months you were Actively Subscribed for. Please be aware you will get MMF access the FOLLOWING month. For example if you subscribe in January, you won’t get an MMF email until February!  Access at the link here:  You'll need an MMF account to redeem them, one with a matching email to your Patreon. This will give you free access to your models and keep them safe and secure. This will allow you access them even if you are no longer a Patron or Tribes member. Access and more information in the links below.

How to Access Past Month’s Archived Models:

You will only have access to the months you were Actively Subscribed for. You'll need an MMF account to redeem them, one with a matching email to your Patreon. This will give you free access to your models and keep them safe and secure. Please be aware you will get MMF access the FOLLOWING month. For example, if you subscribe in January, you won’t get an MMF email until February!  Access at the link here:  https://www.myminifactory.com/library?v=shared&s=all/Cinderwing3D

You'll receive an email granting you access to the files in the following hours, there's no need for you to change your MMF email to match the one you use here on Patreon. Read the next section so you can be sure to find the email.

How to Redeem the MMF email: The redeem link for our files have been sent to all applicable patrons by MyMiniFactory. This will come in the form of an email with instructions on how to redeem our files. If you didn't see the email, that might be because:

  • The email is in the 'Promotions' section [Gmail Users].

  • You received the email on your Patreon email address.

  • The email is in the spam folder.

We love people having the flexibility to modify files to make unique items, such as Dragon Head Planters, for their personal shops. HOWEVER, ALL MODIFICATIONS MUST BE APPROVED THROUGH US. Please send us a message with what you would like to do and if it does not conflict with our current design plans or copyright we will approve it. If modifications have already been made, please cease production and send us a photo for us to review. (Any request to create an entire original creation from current models OR the mesh of another artist’s work will not be approved)

These modified designs are for your own personal use, and as PHYSICAL PRINTS can also be sold in your shops through the Commercial License, WITH DESIGN CREDIT to Cinderwing3D's Original Design. The digital files (Originals and Modified) are NEVER to be shared or re-sold. If you would like the Cinderwing3D Community to have access to the modified file, we thoroughly appreciate that, and will work with you to make them available to the other supporters!

Universal Recommended Print Settings, for all models!

FDM Settings: 

3 walls 

10-25% infill 

No supports 

Raft or brim if you have adhesion issues 

Resin Settings: 

No supports, flat on plate 

50 um layer thickness 

Light off delay can be helpful to let resin drip from links. 

Proper bottom exposure tuning is recommended. Models, particularly in clear resins, can suffer from overexposure and fused links. The Ameralabs Town testing is highly recommended to tune your settings as to get proper articulated prints! Exposure varies greatly between resins, printers, and environments.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but for anyone who is running a budget printer like me, (creality ender) there is new slicing software out, Creality Print. I have dropped Cura and the original creality slicer, and my prints are running faster with better quality.

My husband got me one for mothers day and it's awesome! The AMS holds 4 spools and you can print spool holders for other brand PLA spools. Bambu PLA is roughly same cost as other brands, but it automatically detects color spools vs manually entering color. I hope that makes sense!

The X1 is better and faster than the P1P. They decrease the speed on the P1P because of the lack of cooling the P1P has compared to the X1. The X1 also is better if you live in humid areas as it is contained with a door on the front and the AMS (if you add that) is also sealed. Also, the X1 has a touch screen display and the P1P has the old style navigational display. Big difference in price, but I would get the X1 if you can afford it. P1P is obviously better than getting a Ender 3 or 5, etc and you can improve that which I said was governed down by Bambu by purchasing the chamber fan setup and making the configuration changes in the slicer.

The P1P is really the way to go if you just plan on printing models like this, you would still be saving money over the x1 combo. but the x1 sure does look cleaner. i dont really see any huge improvements in speed or quality of my prints comparing the two printers

The X1 is only slightly better, and its not because of speed. you can add the axillary cooling fan to the P1P but even without it the X1 doesn't print significantly faster. id gladly trade my X1 for 2 P1Ps. the extra production would outweigh any feature on the X1

Hi I am Giamarie, I'm new here and to the entire 3D world. I'm normally a polymer clay artist focusing on earrings. I also do crochet, macrame, resin art, metal stamping, tumblers, pens, keychains etc and now I am extremely excited to add 3D printing to my repertoire! Lol. My business is called the Crafty Cafe for a reason- it's like a menu of things that I offer. 😆 Anyways, since I am new to the game, although I have been printing tons of studded tumbler keychains since I received my ender pro 3, 2 weeks ago, I really don't know where to start especially here on Cinderwings patreon. I don't know if anyone here lives near me in Dayton Nevada but, I sure could use some help with adjustments to my printer! 😉 Like I said, This is all new to me and I'm a little overwhelmed by this new machine and all the terminology but Omgosh do I LOVE this. I am very happy to be here and part of the tribe. I cannot wait to do my 1st print but I need to get it adjusted perfectly first... Have a question with people using Prusa slicer. I am having to repair every file I download. This only happens with Cinderwing files, is this something with Prusa slicer and is anyone else having issues. I can download and print other files all day long but Cinderwing files all have to be repaired.

Hi there, where can I find the Lunar dragon egg? I feel like I've looked all over and can't find it. MMF says there's 4 files in the egg section for Cinderwing, but only two pop up when you click on it.

There is not a Lunar Dragon Egg, you may be referring to the Infinity Egg which was part of the FronTiers campaign and is not available. The other eggs are the Crystal Egg (subscriber exclusive), the Dragon Scale )free if you were subbed that month, otherwise public sale), and the Advent Calender Eggs (same as dragon scale). Including the Infinity, thats the four.

I know that the winter and autumn dragons exist, but what would be considered the spring dragon and summer dragon? I though i saw a post a while back on this but i've spent 3 hours looking and haven't found it again I remember that yall used what i believed was OVV3D's seasonal gradients to print the set in that post.

By the looks of it, Dino and Dog have done it - From just assuming how it works, which is you put all the month's files into a folder and share that with the current email addresses that are linked to the last month, I assume it'd be the same principle? Such as putting all of the welcome pack into a folder and then sharing it with everyone that has subscribed. Again that's just an assumption of how it works. I'd imagine there's a tad more too it than that though.

Is there a file for the winged dragons like the spike and the hollow dragons that have individual wing print files? I ran into an issue where just one of the four spike dragon wings failed and I don't want to have to print all four again.

Once you fill out the form it will be on the Response Confirmation page, its a link! If you missed it the first time, you should have been sent a confirmation email, you can use that email to get back into the form and get the badge.

each piece of the MMU file is individually separated, It seems to be crashing my BAMBU studio when attempting to slice.. (single colour works fine)

Yep! I specifically left it to pieces cause this one has SO many nooks and crannies and I wanted to give people the option in case they wanted to customize the paint job. There also seem to be some memory leak issues with Bambu Studio(as of version 1.8.4) so please bear this in mind as well

The drops usually come towards the middle of the month, IMO kinda stinks. The majority of people here sell their prints at shows all month long, not just the 2nd half of the month. But, she has great models!

TBH - The longer it takes the more excited I get!!! No doubt there are some amazing things coming, and she is taking the time to give us the quality we expect. I have yet to look back on a month and not feel like this is the best investment I have EVER made in my 3D printing.

Hi Everyone! :) Thank you for all the well wishes! I have been hard at work on new designs and to stay 100% focused I don't check messages or comments, as some are mean and very derailing. As Admin Jazzy said above, you will ALWAYS get your models, but I don't always have a schedule for release as some things take extra long in testing. I do understand now that most of you just want updates even if it's not a release post, and I will work on doing those more! :) Thank you!

Hello, I am wondering about the dropship platforms disclaimer. I currently utilize dropshipping for tshirt designs on my website (through Shopify). The Frogs and turtles are one of the biggest hits here in Florida. Idea, could you turn the mushrooms on the mushroom dragon and frog into a strawberry? Make great addition to collection and a great seller in Florida area due to strawberry farms around. Just a thought and Idea. Thanks

Have a question. i sent a message back in September asking what size magnet to use with the rose turtle magnet print. I didnt hear back. Went looking to see if i could find what size it took and finally found 6 x 2 neodymium magnets. Ordered them on amazon, and when i went to glue them in today, they are to big for the hole on the bottom, Is 6x2 the correct size? i did not change the print size in cura when i loaded the file to print. Are you able to suggest any pointers to help? thank you in advance,

They do fit 6x2 magnets. The holes are slightly larger and we have been able to press them in, shouldn't be too hard to push is but also don't need glue at that point :) - Also magnet hole is one of the open modifications that any Cinders can make on these designs. Feel free to expand/cut them to any size you need!

The email from MMF is sent out at the end of every month with a link for access to that last month. For example, if you joined in December, you will recieve an email at the END of December for access to December's models (in case you might have missed any) :) Hope this helps!
