Switching to MMF or staying on Patreon (Important Info) (Patreon)

Hey guys just wanted to send out a little reminder for everyone that if you are switching to MMF that you should be canceling your Patreon subscription today. Also if you would like to stay on Patreon but did try the one month free with MMF you should also cancel your MMF today as well. This will help everyone from getting double charged. If you do get double charged just let me know and I will work hard to make sure every one that needs a refund gets it.

Also, for all those joining MMF and making the switch I am working hard to distribute the archived models to every subscribing member.  This may take a couple of days though so if you can back up any models from prior months that you might need that would be helpful.

Just a reminder if you need to leave the community and will not be continuing your subscription you will no longer have an active commercial license and will need to stop selling the Cinderwing3D models. For anyone leaving just want to say thank you so much for the time that you have spent supporting me, and I hope to see you back soon!

I have to admit, trying to keep up on Patreon is hard sometimes. I must have missed a previous announcement about all of this, I only saw the invite to move to MMF this week via email. Does this mean that we have a choice, or that MMF will eventually be the only option? I really don't want to change platforms for my artists I support currently or have more than one platform to keep track of. Some of this is confusing enough already to keep up with...

I didn't do the one month free trial but I am seeing some models being shared with my account over on MMF and verified there is not a subscription for Cinder... over there. A majority of the artists that I support on here will post the latest on here and then share over on MMF a month behind Patreon for long term storage. I don't know how all the "behind the scenes" things work so I will just need a heads up if you drop Patreon for MMF.

I checked out mmf, thats a hard no from me. i locally archive every file i might print, just incase i lose internet for any reason so staying here isnt a issue for me

I have to agree.. I just looked into it a bit. Not only do I not want to manage another platform, I'm not a fan.

I personally prefer Patreon over MMF. I find it more convenient.

i prefer MMF, it seems the creators get more for their creations and subscriptions then they do on Patreon. Its like supporting a small business. I say do what works best for you. it isnt like these people dont sit on the internet looking at a million things per day, im sure its not an "inconvenience", its laziness. Not trying to be rude. But with MMF, it saves everything for you. In the event either of my hard drives crap out, I can go back to MMF and its all in one place. very little navigation at all.

Apparently I don't have a choice now. The invites have created an account for me on MMF pending password creation.

MMF will not let me sign up for the tribe. I put in my info and it just reloads the card info box and does nothing
