JUST READ : FREEDOM FIGHTERS ISSUE 9 (Patreon)

okay so this is my jumping on point to a 12 comic long series and first off, I love it. The writing has heart, the dialogue is pretty much one liners but that makes you feel like a kid again reading Comicbooks. The art is... Although it's obviously mainstream it still feels fast action and makes the characters interesting. It's the first time I've seen Plastic man.. Or rather Men as scary. It's set on Earth X where super powered Nazis won the war, the justice league are Nazis here But the comic doesn't focus on them, it's on the freedom fighters, a lesser known and lesser used team. As black slaves are freed there's a big sacrifice moment where one of them shouts today, we are all freedom fighters and it's really got momentum.
