Wheeljack Transformer Redesign by me (Patreon)

When LostLight/MTMTE ended I also got the final issue of Optimus Prime and frankly I thought it was shit. IDW soldout Optimus prime and the writing was a mess... So my mum said "fuck em, just do your own" and I thought alright. I had loads of ideas, but I started with a step... I'm doing my redesign of autobot Wheeljack. I googled classic racing cars and picked one I felt would give him some nice curves. Part of the fun of redesigning TFs is to do them so they could really transform. Original Wheeljack has the roof on his chest so I kept this jaguars roof on his chest but made the front and rear windows slide beneath slightly. The front breaks in half for his shoulders allowing arms to pop out. I kept his twin fins on his back but I'm tempted to give him a minion because that's a great way to get two toys in one. I also have a story reason for him turning into a classic racing car. When his small group emerge they only have a classic car magazine at hand for earth based altmodes(I think older cars just look better as well)
