I plan to make it a point to post once per week about the game's development, probably on Sundays (though that may vary a bit). My goal is to put out content updates (that is, versions of the game with new content) approximately once per month. As much as possible, I want the content updates to be coherent, in the sense that the new stuff I put in there makes sense together and is relatively complete. I really want to avoid putting some half-finished town out there, or just adding a few random quests and calling it an update. I aim to make each update advance the story in a discrete chunk.
I haven't nailed down the exact date for 0.2.0's release, but I plan to get it out before the end of the month. I've worked out what I want to include in the next update, and have begun making maps for the new areas. I've also created a (private) Git repository for the project, which forced me to go back and relearn the basics of Git. For those who don't know, Git is a Version Control System (VCS). VCSes provide a number of benefits to developers, but from you the player's perspective, one of the big things it will do is allow me to painlessly push out bugfixes when needed without also including a bunch of incomplete stuff I'm currently working on.
