Do you ever feel like you're playing catch-up with life? I've just finished my first month back at work while also attempting to juggle the gym, friends, my relationship, mental health. Oh and also learning to live in a van full-time!

My calendar is PACKED to the brim with one notification after the other telling me where I need to be next. Now don't get me wrong, I am loving being back in routine  but all the busyness, the hustle and bustle, it starts to mesh. And that mesh turns into white noise. 

It was last Sunday afternoon when I had just finished work and Anna had picked me. I sat in the front seat and I looked at her and said, Okay, what now? Almost immediately I wanted to do something. Even after an 8 hour day on my feet, I was desperate for a distraction, I wanted to do anything but sit with my thoughts. But that little voice inside my head, the one that saves me from my darkest days popped up and reminded me that it was important to sit in the silence that I was eager to avoid. 

So I compromised with myself and I booked in for the sauna. 

It was the perfect happy medium! I was doing something with my time but also took the opportunity to put down my phone and just be present in the moment with my thoughts. I took the time to reflect on the past week and how I wanted to enter the week ahead.

It's become very important to me now to sit down at the end of each week and do a Weekly Wellness Check-In. This is something I actually started while traveling through Asia to help monitor my anxiety levels and emotions while also documenting moments that are easily forgotten.
