It's at the top of every naturist bucklist to go nude hiking. The sun on your skin, the breeze against your back and the simple lack of clothing. You really do become one with mother nature.

The term freehiking has been used by naturists for decades to describe the activity of naked hiking. It was adopted by hikers after the sport of freeskiing gained popularity in the 1990s.

I've been told many times over that I had to try it and when I got the opportunity at a nudist resort that owned private property (I'm not ballsy enough to hike naked on an open trail) I jumped at the opportunity! But honestly, it wasn't for me.

My first dilemma arose pretty quickly... where do I put my phone? (I was under prepared and forgot my backpack). I was then I was greeted by my sweat that suddenly felt more prominent. Oh my god, and don't get me started on the boob bouncing... it may look good in videos BUT IT FUCKING HURTS! 🤣

But that's the beauty of naturism isn't it, one size doesn't fit all. We can bare it all however we choose. Express our freedom in the situations we prefer. If you enjoy freehiking, great! If you don't, great!

But I would like to know, what has your experience been with freehiking?

Here is an article below from one of my favourite naturist bloggers about freehiking 👇🏼

I have found a naturist retreat with good walking tracks. It wasn't until late afternoon that I discovered these tracks, so didn't have much of a chance to explore. I plan to go back soon, leave most of my gear at the car, just taking a backpack with water, food, phone, plus any smaller items I might need.

I tend to do most walks early in the morning. Hopefully there should be less people around. And sweat doesn't tend to be an issue. In my story, I mentioned the temp was 13 deg Celsius. I felt cool when I first stripped off, but once I got moving I quickly warmed up. Also, this particular walk slopes steeply to the east, so is in full sun early in the morning. The perfect winter walk. I will add one more thing, which is probably too much information. For us male persons, shrinkage is your friend. Less rubbing between smaller objects, and further distance to other surfaces.

Shrinkage is your friend 😆 First time I've heard this is a positive outlook, I love it! Thank you for sharing this story. I'm glad to hear you had such a postive experince and that the forest worker was so friendly and understanding (which he should be)
