If I am going to be completely honest (which I always am), when I first started teaching naked yoga I underestimated the potency of these classes, the power, and the potential I held in my hands.

I saw naked yoga as a novelty, nothing more. I would stand in front of the room, say a few words and take the class through some stretches all butt naked. But as time went on and the more classes that I taught, my insecurities began to bubble to the surface. I realized I was projecting my shame onto those who stood in front of me, those who looked to me as their teacher, guiding them through this special experience.

Naked yoga is not just a bucket-list item, it's so much more. It's not only about stripping back layers of clothing but also beliefs. Years of conditioning and the life-long narrative we've told ourselves of why we are the way we are especially when things get too hard.

Teaching naked yoga has been such an expansive journey for me. I now teach with honesty and an open heart, allowing people to explore themselves within a non-sexual environment while in a room FULL of other naked people.

We're all on our own journeys but sometimes we need to find our tribe to be reminded we are not alone 🖤
