Love the discussion around listening to music, for the music and vibe versus lyrics. Definitely a bit of both

Marshall Christensen

I knew I should have said that there's a lot of friend bugs and neutral bugs also in the game ha.

Great episode! Thanks to qt having dyslexia I finally googled what it is and realized it’s a ton more than just seeing letters and numbers in different places! It has a lot of subsequent issue as you grow older too! Thanks for the education chance! -the fruit guys are dope af -I think people in LA see so many weirder things that a nudist on top of a car may not be that out there. Have fun and be safe at twitchcon

Crying in H Mart is such a good book

For all the other Whisk[e]y enjoyers out there, if you like the High West Campfire then you might also like something from Laphroaig, Lagavulin (16 year if you want to treat yourself), or Ardbeg. They all have a similar smoky/peaty flavor that's really great.

Are nude Spas really that rare in the US? I feel like they're the standard in Europe. I prefer to go to them on dedicated bath clothing days, but I've once gone to a nude one with my girlfriend and it was fine too (felt strange, but no-one cares of course)

Purrcy

Without sharing too much about myself, I really appreciate the conversations you two have about mental health and grief! What QT said this bonus episode really resonated with me. Thank you so much!

Damn didnt know nude spas are that uncommon in the US. I go like once a week either with my gf or alone here in Germany. It's always pretty full, and everything is mixed gender. Some spas are more popular with older people (40-70) and some more with younger people (16-35).

There are mostly Saunas but also some tubs, like a whirlpool and a bigger pool with built in areas to relax and a area to swim arround.

From what I remember, the stages of grief were actually documented for those with cancer dealing with their OWN death, not people dealing with death of their loved ones. I agree, grief is completely different for every single person and it's not linear, and it doesn't just go away after the funeral. It follows you for years or forever. There shouldn't be shame attached to that.

"Sometimes I look up and it's funny" got me so good lmao

Dane Zeeb

Hearing that the stages of grief thing is BS (again) helped me today. Sometimes it takes some reinforcement for things like that to stick. Didn't expect to get that out of this podcast but happy that I did and just thought I'd comment to say thank you for that :)

some_donkus

this was my first extra and it was awesome! yay!

I quit watching Walking Dead after Season 7 when they brutally killed Glenn. But Steven Yeun has had a great career since, so I guess it worked out for the best. I'm still pissed tho. I did watch the new TWD Daryl Dixon, takes place in France, totally different vibe, it was great.

Crazy that QT read Crying in H Mart, I couldn’t get 5 pages in there was too much psychic damage

soloPFL

watching Americans discovering that nudity doesn't have to be sexual or overly shameful is my favorite content. shirtless isn't even considered naked here for women as well as men. LUL The land of the (not so) free ;)

Hey QT check out taconic whiskey if you ever find yourself on the east coast.

PuffTheDargon

QT if you like smoked whiskeys, please tell me youve gotten into Islay scotch, specifically like ardbeg or even some good bruchladdich. Huge whiskey/scotch nerd. i have like a dumb amount. Also find a bottle of Hibiki Harmony. Japanese smoked whiskey thats fucking incredible.

PuffTheDargon

Also a lot of japanese whiskey is taking advantage of the hype. That hibiki in particular has been around a minute as like proper.. american whiskey is good but MGP ruins so much of the market. Im canadian so its hard to get anything up here that doesnt have good distribution. Big fan of a lot of the bourbons ive gotten my hands on.

seashell

I'm super late to this but my friends dad works for high west haha. I haven't had all their whiskeys but 100% unbiased the double rye is one of my favorite whiskeys as far as quality for a somewhat cheap price. It's so much better than a lot of others I've had at that price point. A Midwinter Night's Dram is my friends favorite whiskey he's ever had, I'm so surprised you know about it. Definitely try it if you ever get the chance, it's super special and it tastes like Christmas.

Noel A Steslicki

That is such good advice QT. I have been grieving the health of my body since being diagnosed with a lot of stuff recently. "Im grieving today." Def adding that to my normal when needed.

Jersey Eisan

at the beginning and maya literally forgetting she was on name your price killed me

Theodore Salmon

the stages of greif are you finding out youre going to die
