It was a pretty good proof of concept with nice cinematography, and since i have a personal interest in cryptids like SEXWORKERS, im pretty intrigued for this if it becomes a full film but it is a very understandable flop if you went into it wanting BIG SCARES.

omg please do scary movies even if they're occassional :D i'd recommend barbarian, haven't watched it yet but it's about a woman who goes to her booked rental home and finds out it's already occupied and it's highly rated and sounds crazy. also the bonus eps are great, unstructured content is fun since you two bounce off each other so well and talk about wild topics or stories that we wouldn't get from a list of questions so pls don't overthink it too much

really didn't mind the short film, but it definitely needed more skinwalking, the opening, and closing were eerie, and the middle could be good in the full film, but is closer to a drama thriller.

this episode was great and the movie was nice for what it was too! i’d watch if it got made into a full length film. BUT! horror movie eps would be fire omg + incantation on netflix was the first horror movie that had me scared for multiple nights in a WHILE in case anybody wants a horror movie to watch!

I really enjoyed the skinwalker ranch documentary but it felt a lot more “alien activity” which had me a little disappointed because I wanted sex workers.

I hope this doesn't discourage you from watching more films, even if they are lower budget. I really enjoyed this episode! In a way, the more flawed the film is, the more opportunity for commentary. Loved the banter and perspectives on this one as well. Looking forward to more. 🫶🏼

The short film is definitely a film student or recent graduate’s work or something. Very basic, not a very good script, mostly focused on the visuals and not the substance/theme - which is what produces the ‘horror’. Good starting point though, the premise is pretty interesting and the director has a good eye. Better things to come for them (hopefully)✌️

The movie is really meta. The horror aspect is that there could be 90 more minutes of that. But hopefully that doesn't deter wine about from watching horror movies, just because this film was lackluster. There are good horror movies!
