jojo had formed a children pop group called xomgpop and the children apart of the group were treated horribly by jojo and her mom. a girl formerly apart of the group spoke out against jojo because of overworking the girls in the group and verbally abusing them on multiple occasions. jojo and her mom never defended themselves against these claims and it is just overall disappointing that jojo is continuing the kinds of awful treatment to other children she was subjected to as a child by abby lee :( i think jojo’s “rebrand” is trying to distract from the allegations and that is why she has been getting so much backlash, not just for being childish or cringe.

It’s nice hearing that QT has gotten to know Sam a bit. She was literally the only person a part of H3H3 who looked genuinely horrified and pissed off the second everyone else started laughing during the video of QT breaking down. The fact that she apologized to QT also says a lot about her considering she was literally the only person there with seemingly nothing to apologize for.

Jojo had defended Colleen Ballinger (Miranda Sings) when the grooming allegations against her had come out despite there being evidence to support the allegations and the fact that when Jojo and Colleen had become friends Jojo was like 11? Gross. There’s also a lot more drama regarding her ex’s and how she’s treated them. All in all Jojo’s brand has left an off putting taste in ppls mouth.

I think Jojo Siwa was accused of being verbally abusive to the children's dance group that she ran. And she has shaded her exes in ways that led to them getting a lot of hate from her fans. Also I think people find her grating, since her brand new image is "I'm a bad girl, I have tatoos 😈" but she's still marketing to children and has a sparkly car with her face? And a lot of people just find her very conceited (especially in regards to putting her face everywhere)

Jojo's a weird case because she's definitely done weird stuff, but the hate often feels disproportionate. A little bit back in the day when 'takedown' commentary videos on youtubers and stuff was the most popular thing, those commentary people would make videos on someone like Onision, an actual freak creep, and then make a video on Jojo, a child at the time, and treat her like she was just as bad?? They would make takedown videos about children, usually tweenage girls, in bad situations who were more likely the ones being taken advantage of than the reasons they were happening, and be mean to them instead of parents or weird management putting them there and allowing stuff. Always hated it.

The jojo stuff is kind of messy. I don’t remember exactly what the issue(s) the public had with jojo were, but I think I remember seeing tweets when she was 18/19 that, exactly as you guys said, had issue with her still creating kid content. Then, I vaguely recall her being painted as a fuckboi or she was making fuckboi snapchats. But, most recently of course was all the stuff with her and Colleen, Shane, James Charles. Basically she defended Colleen Ballinger on that Howie Mendel podcast, I think you guys actually talked about it in a past episode. Jojo also was in a shane dawson video not too long before that, and a video with James Charles after the colleen stuff resurfaced as well. I’m likely missing a lot of things, I remember Colleen’s sister Rachel was on a trip with Jojo. I’ve no idea when, I don’t recall jojo’s age but I think Rachel was on a trip with jojo and rachel i’m guessing is late 20s? Not sure what all that’s about. At the very least though Jojo has collaborated with/spoke out for Colleen, Shane Dawson and James - all of whom have been revealed to be groomers/manipulators/etc etc you get the point. I think even her video with James was after his god awful fluff piece in whatever magazine that was clearly some bought publicity to clean his image, and accuse his victims of lying or exaggerating. I could be incorrect about the timing but at the very least it was not too long ago, so it was public knowledge that James had chatted with underaged people and she still was in his video, singing his praises. Same as with Shane, sung his praises despite all the racist, predatory, shitty things he did while that was all public knowledge. Interestingly with the documentary that you then spoke about after - we are hearing more and more about how kids are taken advantage of in tv land, and so maybe Jojo was overworked or stressed but that aside - I don’t think that excuses her for standing by the creepy adults in her life then or now. If she really was being a good role model, she wouldn’t be publicly making content with these people who probably taking advantage of her young audience to win back public favour at the very least.

I love the store idea, you could go one further and get a slightly bigger space so you could have a secure area to film in. You could have a whole crafting with QT stream whenever you wanted, could even do a crafting interview series (like lilypichu does with painting) or hold classes for streamers (and sell their creations in your brick and mortar storefront). All whilst being another completely different business out the front.

Also, I'm like 100% sure that kind of thing goes against Onlyfans ToS. Any content with multiple people being sold has to have all "performers" verified by OF and they have to have an OF account. I grew up watching jojo on dance moms and so when she came out I was very excited are started following her. So to give some context she is problematic. There's been lots of drama with her in the lesbian tik tok community because she has treated her partners terribly. (granted she's young and I understand people making mistakes in the early years of their romantic relationships) that aside! She created a small dance group called XOMG pop. It was a group of young girls similar to the age jojo was when she started dance moms and she basically continued the cycle that she went through with Abby Lee Miller. Her and her mother exploited these young children and even threatened and yelled at the girls one of which who couldn't perform due to an injury and jojo is now being sued for. Also for her audience being such young children, she continues to support and interact with known problematic creators towards children such as Colleen Ballinger, and James Charles. She is also still in contact with Abby Lee Miller and is the only one of the girls who still talks with Abby and has a "good" relationship with her. After all of this I stopped following her and have had such distaste for her and her music. I don't know what else has happened since then.

the pedophile who got hired on zack & cody was pretty promptly fired after people raised hell about it. and they redubbed all of his voiceovers. so yes it's crazy that he was hired there (what kind of a BG check do they do??) but thankfully because of the newfound awareness, people got him dropped. i think that's a big thing that already has changed with the internet; the awareness is much higher. metoo probably helped in that way as well

I think the Jojo Siwa hate is weird. The only thing I've seen someone mention as to why they hate her is because she's friends with Shane Dawson and Colleen Ballenger. I can understand the weird feeling about that, but the bullying is for sure odd considering there's nothing pointing to her being like them. that we know of I guess.

Long one (sorry) RE: cake decorating thing business those are great ideas for improving it, like you pick 3 base colours but you can say buy extra but the time over thing, i think that would need like buffer tables so you had the ability to do it and that is sometimes going to be empty and costing space as you can't just pull out a pop up table etc. and put the next person on it; I used to work in a bowling alley & if we booked lanes it was sections you moved so like [Smith, J 19:35] [Jones,M 21:35] and although there was no 'time' to each (i swear to you a guy once walked in bought '2 games' {it went on frame numbers so you'd get people try game it and buy 2 games for 2 then add 4 people then get annoyed they'd get 1 game of 4}, this guy was in and out in 15 minutes as he just smashed the games out, literally only the time to reset was what limited him, think he even got multiples of the ball so he didn't have to wait on return and he just walked out 15 mins later :D) we had an hour a game average and it'd not let you put a booking on a lane that would not be finished before someone came in so you'd try move them to an empty lane (or table in this thing) so [Smith, J 19:35] [Jones,M 20:35] wouldn't happen but if they left early (and HOPEFULLY told us, as people often wandered off mid-game to get drinks or play arcade games) we'd close the lane off and that became useable again for walk in or rearranging things so no lane was out of use for a gap, each lane had a finish and start next to eachother. even then you'd get people come up even after saying WHEN THEY WENT ONTO IT 'hey, just so you know before you pay IF you think you'd want another game, its A) cheaper now than when you come up again as you'd get the 2 game price (say £10 for 2 not £7 each) not a 2*1 game as we cant add to the booking, its a new booking & B) we couldn't guarantee you could stay on the lane as it may get reassigned as you'd only booked it until 'x' and people update the system so another person could be booked on right after you (but like honestly you could buy 1 game and stay for like 5 hours so long as you didn't use all the frames & were buying food/drink, it made it very difficult as people would rightly get annoyed at having to wait 15 mins for a lane to open up) Even then you'd get people come up say 'hey, yeah we're having fun so we want to add another game, that's £3 more, right' - I CANNOT stress how much I made it clear to people that the prices were set, actually maybe that i was in the TOP of the 2 game and 3 game sales thing & terrible at the job (due to other factors) might put it out there that I made it clear (cos it WAS cheaper and hell its not my money, i'd rather we get few people in so tie up the lanes longer as meant i got more time to do the other aspects - like spraying the shoes or untying them as people never did) So if you've made it this far ty ... basically its really difficult to just add time in businesses where its a timeslot as its geared to be a turnaround
