Goals ~ 2024 (Patreon)

I have some pretty major goals that I will be exploring from now into 2024. As many of you are doubtless aware, I've been working on the Growing Pandemic for over 10 years now.

Boy what a journey it has been as I've developed the world, created so many infected, and explored a lot of different scenarios! While this isn't the end of the Growing Pandemic, I still have plenty of stories to tell, I am feeling a bit of burnout from doing the same thing over and over for the last 10 years.

Some of my new goals moving forward is to try new things. Maybe I'll focus on werewolves for a time, maybe vampires, demons, or other classic monsters. Nothing that's necessarily tied to the Pandemic. (But could be used for it. :3c)

Another goal I have is to sincerely begin working in 3D again. I explored it a little bit over the years, dabbling here and there as time permitted. But I never sat down and took a class in it, nor tried to create anything particularly organic.

If any of you little monsters out there happen to know of anything that could help me in this pursuit, I would really appreciate the guidance that could lead us all into the next level of the Growing Pandemic.

Now, to kill some expectations here. I have zero intention in making a game. I'm still in the learning stages of all this, and it will take time. Maybe if I feel confident in my progress I'll explore a Visual Novel, but for now I want to learn the correct way of doing 3D, before I go nuts with anything else.

To assuage some other concerns that might pop up, I'm a creature of habit. I don't think I'll ever stop working on the Growing Pandemic, and I'll probably regularly return to it because it is my passion project. I love the freedom it gives me to play Creator, and just do whatever I want. So don't you worry yourselves over anything.
