Progress report? (Patreon)

I normally don't write progress reports because no news is good news but this one isn't exactly a progress report.
TLDR: I'm changing the release schedule from 2500 lines of dialogue every month to 1500 lines every two weeks. I know some like bigger updates so I'll be leaving the update patches up longer for those that want to grab every second update. Individual updates will be 40% smaller but you'll get 20% more content per month.
Non-TLDR: I've had a streak of bad luck lately. In June, I got COVID. Then I got laid off, then I lost my apartment and without a job I couldn't get another one. I've been living in my car since the 28th. The plan was to spend July in my car to try to find a job and if that doesn't work out, move back to my hometown, stay with my parents and try to do Grandma's House full time.
The plan didn't work out, it's been hot as hell lately. I think the coolest temperature's we got was about 32C/90F. Considering I don't have a high school diploma and there's more unemployment than employment around here these days, I haven't been able to find job. And the heat pretty much killed me, got some minor heat stroke and haven't slept more than 3-4 hours a night in a couple of weeks.
So this morning, I rented a trailer, took my stuff out of storage and left for my parents house. Got here a couple of hours ago, I'm all set up and ready to get back to work. Now I'm officially doing Grandma's House full time.
I want to make the updates bigger but finishing up the updates is the only part of making GH that I don't enjoy, at all. Having to proof and fix 2500+ lines and check and touch up 700+ renders every month is a pain in the ass. So I'll be splitting it into two updates. Instead of a 2500 line update every month, it's gonna be a 1500 line update every 2 weeks. Testing the waters for now, this might change but I feel like it's the best option for everyone.
I get that some people prefer bigger updates that are further apart so I'll be keeping the update patches uploaded for longer for the people that want to skip every other update. For people that do that, it's gonna be pretty much the same thing but with more content. For those that get every update, they'll be 40% smaller but you'll get them twice as often.
So that's pretty much it, thanks for reading if you got this far. The first smaller update will be around the 1st of August and you can expect them around the 1st and 15th of every month after that.
