patreon shutting down... thank you for everything! (Patreon)

hi there! howdy! yep, it's me, hi!!!

it's been 6 (?!!?!?!) amazing super long years, but i think the time has finally come! i'll be shutting down (unpublishing) my patreon page on may 31st. the billing cycle has been paused, so you won't be charged again! 

the short answer is, i currently can't put out the level of ASMR that i want to right now, i can't offer anything monthly, and this has been making me feel guilty for a long time! i've thought of an alternative, so i think the time has finally come to close the doors!

currently as i type this, i'm rendering a video, which will be my last upload here! make sure you download it if you'd like to! 

this whole thing feels really bittersweet! back when i was first starting to make videos, i was just a dumb little kid and i had no clue what i was doing, and the fact there are people who supported me then who have come and gone and those who support me still now, it's just crazy to think about how far i've come, the adventures we've been on, the stories i've been able to tell thanks to you! i will always eternally be grateful for the avalanche of support you have given me over the years! thank you so much!!!

how will i access high quality videos and animations for asmr videos in the future? 

GUMROAD!!! in the future, whenever an asmr is released (which i'm hoping will be much more often than you've received of late) there will be a link in the description to my gumroad page, where you'll be able to download both the audio file just like on here and also the animation in HD. this will be about $5 per audio, i might make yearly compilations and stuff for cheaper too so you can grab older stuff if you'd like. some of the super older videos on here might not be uploaded to gumroad, so make sure to grab anything you care about from patreon! everything new will be there though!

it will make me a lot happier to not be worrying constantly about people supporting me here for such a slow trickle of content. watch the videos on youtube, see if they catch your interest, and if they do, buy the audio on gumroad to relisten to in higher quality whenever you'd like! what is the future of your ASMR channel? 

hopefully many, many more uploads in much higher quality super mega soon!!! the biggest reason my uploads have slowed down (aside from vtubing taking up a lot of my time, since i'm now supporting my entire family through it AND it's the thing i love most in the whole world) is that i currently don't have my own bedroom and i have very, very limited opportunities to record ASMR. once i eventually get my own room (HOPEFULLY THIS YEAR FINGIES CROSSED!!) i plan to make some massive huge big big audio upgrades, like purchasing a KU100 and possibly commissioning artists to make art for my videos (which will save me a lot of time and stress!) once this happens, and we reach this point, i'm really hoping to be able to offer monthly uploads again. i have spent the last week and a half on a streaming break just to work on ASMR, which is how i got this video to you! i have two more videos that i've managed to record during this time and will be slowly working on art for and editing! please wait for them excitedly! (they will also have animated backgrounds, unfortunately this new video doesn't! >O<)

it's really bittersweet typing this up. i've known this day was coming for a long, long time, still, it feels kinda weird and strange! patreon has been a part of my life for pretty much 1/3 of my life. i really cannot grasp that!
