i've wanted to get myself an actual asmr microphone forever, but i was super stumped by how hard they are to set up and how expensive the 3DIOs are to ship to the uk. (actual mics are 500, and then customs and handling would probably stack up to 20-30% if not MORE of that as well.... wooooosh.)

SR3D was the UK based alternative, plus they're all made by this really rad guy called frank who was super helpful with tech stuff when i emailed him. i trust him and feel good about my purchase. team frank forever, 3DIO can buzz off.

but yeah, i've always wanted one of those funny ear microphones that i can make cool asmr sounds with but i never really thought it'd happen, so this is kind of a little dream come true for me. i couldn't have ever have bought something like this for my content if it weren't for my patrons, so really, i owe everything to you. thank you so much for your support!! 

i'll be making some more more traditional asmr roleplays using this bad boy once it arrives and i spend 2 hours screeching because i don't know how to get it to work, so expect some of that stuff through this month once i get it! if cheesy traditional asmr girlfriend roleplays aren't your thing, don't worry, i'll be using this in my normal videos too to replace the mediocre binaural effect that my current blue yeti uses. the more asmr-y videos won't interrupt my normal content in the slightest, but i'll damn sure enjoy the change of spicing things up here and there and i hope you all will too! c:

so thank you again for allowing this to happen. i'm still sick but gradually recovering, so expect an influx of videos mid-late december once i get the new mic set up. :)
