Is there anyone Damon hasn't killed, lol Zuff. Anna is HERE, I love her sm! The guys comparing who is the better looking brother cracked me up (agree it's Damon, Stefan is a bit too broody for me haha). I don't like him at the best of times but Damon's comedy really is unmatched at this point. Rob all about avenging Lexi and I am HERE for it! Also, Bryce and his weird witch spell moves lol. Keep these reactions coming, guys, they are the best.

There's so much I wanna say but I'll just have to wait because there would be spoilers lol but I can't wait for you guys to get further into the series. This is when it really starts to get good, at least for me. Love the reactions!

The star symbol on the front of the tomb (down where Bonnie was) is the same symbol Emily drew with a stick and it turned into flames while she was doing a spell that destroyed the crystal (ep 9). It's representing the tomb because you needed the crystal and the spell to open the tomb.

This is one of my favorite episodes of TVD. First, Gina Torres is in it which automatically elevates anything. Second, you get reminded that Stefan is a good guy who doesn't get dumped in gasoline because he saves people from car wrecks instead of staking them for his own ends. Then you get reminded that Stefan isn't actually that good because he has done nothing but lie over and over and stalked Elena for months before staging a meet-cute. It's just packed with reveals between adoption, Stefan having saved Elena, his stalking era, and stuff about Damon's history and plans. Best of all, it's just FUN. Elena letting loose after the persistent relationship drama and Damon being Damon. It's a big episode for his early character development. You can almost feel the tone of your commentary around Damon shift a few degrees warmer. I believe this episode was intended to be the ultimate charm offensive for Damon's character and dang it's effective.

i don't think it's that weird that Stefan was watching Elena. From his perspective, someone he knew to be forever locked up in a tomb was walking around the same town he met her in. and then to discover it's a completely different person. so he did his own research in case there was something nefarious going on. makes sense to me, idk. but yeah, from Elena's perspective, it would be weird to hear that your boyfriend was watching you for some time before meeting. stefan is such a complicated character, but i looooove him in moments like the one with Shelia. the level of understanding that passed between them was so cool to watch. He has a different charm than Damon, but it's a charm none the less. the amount of layers to him is why i love him. and there are layers! haha.

Yeah the Stefan stuff is weird, by that, I mean keeping all this vital information from his girlfriend. I’m reminded that these immortal beings are probably so removed from humanity that they kinda forget what is normal, human behaviour. I understand Stefan saving this girl, seeing she looked exactly like his dead vampire ex, making sure it wasn’t her and then looking into it to find out why she did look like her. At that point, Elena was a stranger to him so it’s not as much of an intrusion to me at that point. Obviously, he decides to go back to school and meet her out of whatever curiosity which is when things get a little murky and he starts to fall for her. I don’t know if he just went back to speak to her or what but yeah. When he told her about the vampire stuff, he probably should’ve told her about everything else. I do understand the hesitation only for the fact that telling her she’s adopted kind of isn’t his place, especially when her parents are dead and she is still deep in her grief. That could put her in a really bad state. Plus, I would find it weird to be like oh please don’t dump me, I actually saved your life btw. Like, then that seems kinda manipulative. Regardless, you can’t have a real relationship until she knows all that information that is directly related to her. I don’t know. Damon was sexually assaulting Caroline a few episodes ago but he’s a hot, charismatic character so no one really cares that much and he’s not framed as a really bad person in the show in general, like you can feel they are trying to start some sort of redemption. So yeah, the morality of the show is pretty off regardless.
