The smaller body of water is the Nile. The spirit that came down to take the first borns was actually the angel of death, who, unlike God, can take life but not give it back. Regardless of religion, the animation, songs, and story are really a beautiful work of art. And the cast is stacked if you look. Jeff Goldblum, Sandra Bullock, etc. Great watch, thanks guys!

And yes, Moses also did the 10 Commandments 😂 I’ll just go ahead and mail you all bibles haha

It’s Martin Short and Steve Martin that play Hotep & Huy!!! And they sing Playing with the Big Boys! Those two are just the best duo, that number gets me hyped every time

I was born '94 and The Prince of Egypt was always one of my fave movies growing up and I still think it's Top 10 animated movies for me even all these years later. The acting, score, animation style, and soundtrack aged so well too! Y'all being so unconfident about what happened in the Bible made me laugh so hard lmao. This is one of those films that you don't even need to be religious to enjoy, there are tons of people who aren't that still love this movie!

Smaller body of water was the Nile. Big one was the Red Sea. And he turned the water to blood before, didn’t just turn it red. Lol think it was to represent the blood of the slaves the pharaoh killed or something along those lines. I’m not sure, I’m not big on religion. Love this movie though!
