"Okay, but what about my pillow?" Lol, Bryce. Your reaction to that whole pillow/feather scene cracked me up. This was so much fun and y'all got to meet Lexi (she was in John Tucker Must Die which I think you've watched, right? And a bunch of other stuff). Zuff and Rob still looking out for my girl Caroline. I freaking hate Damon here for Caroline and Lexi *cries* I do agree having him in the show adds to the overall plot but he's in my bad books lol. Another great reaction, thank you!

Same, he can be an interesting character and I do think the show kinda needs him but everyone’s overwhelming love for him even when he’s the worst, makes me feel like I have to like him which makes me hate him lol

Feather pillows still exist, but they are usually more expensive. They are less popular today, but they were still very popular (and I would say the norm) in the 80's and 90's. So, when this was made in 2009...it wasn't far removed from that. Though, I'm sure they would have found a feather pillow either way just to make the scene work. Yeah, they did a fantastic job of making Lexie a likeable and vibrant character so that when they did kill her...we actually cared. So many shows don't bother with this today and then no one cares (or even knows the name) about a character that dies. The "kiddie pool" Caroline scene didn't seem to be a big hit with you. I always liked that scene and thought it was incredibly sad. It's the perfect way to express how Caroline's self esteem is in the gutter despite all she had going on for her. Caroline's journey is actually my favorite in the show. I'm not saying it's long or short...just really impactful I think. I'm enjoying watching along with you guys!

Yea Damon was not allowing Stefan to breathe in these first few episodes. But hey he promised him a lifetime of misery and he meant it. When Stefan told Elena "Why are you trying to save him, he's never going to change", he was talking to himself, he already admitted to wanting to see if there was something still human in Damon and wanting to hope for it, he still secretly hopes for his brother to come around and they can be brothers again. But Damon killing Lexi right in front of him (with the vamp hearing Damon 100% knew he was there) it made Stefan believe that will never be the case. I loved this, not for Lexi's death obviously, but it's the first real heartbreak for Stefan, not just the loss of Lexi but any hope for his brother to be his brother.
