Stefan tries to console Vicky after what happened to her last episode but her hunger is becoming too strong. Bonnie learns about her ancestors and Damon learns about the Lockwoods wanting vervain. hiii weird request but any chance you guys could show the screen after the times that ad breaks typically are? i have the ad version of hbo and it’s a little tricky to match up times while accounting for that and the moments you show the episode on the screen gives me what i need to line it up! (there’s three ads per episode) if not that’s okay just thought i’d bring it up!! so so so glad you guys are watching this show!

I wonder if it would help if they like kept the screen up but blurred it out. (Visible enough to match and sync up with) And then unblur it every 10 minute mark like they do now

For sure the age gap stuff would be weird IRL. I can forgive it in a fictional fantasy show though. I mean, pretty much any sort of character that has been alive forever would have this issue...gods, immortals, vampires. And a age gap certainly isn't the worst sin committed on this show! lol!

I miss the old fandom where everything wasnt dissected and made to be in reality norms like we know the age gap is weird n not okay, can we now enjoy the ships lol? We know feeding on humans is not okay, can we now enjoy the vampire scenes? lol

No, but it doesn't bother me because again...it's fantasy. We are watching a TV show about ALL sorts of "wrong" stuff. It's about the DRAMA....not the morality. If anyone is using TVD as their moral compass or example then they have issues. It works here because they wanted the setting to be YA and in high school. They wanted romance and vampires too. So...hence...vampires dating high school students. It can be enjoyed without EVER condoning that sort of thing IRL. Then again, that sort of thing IRL doesn't exist since there are no immortal vampires. We had a lot of these type of shows back in the day because people were more comfortable not applying morality to fantasy/fiction. I think it's a shame that has gone out of style because now...we don't get shows like this anymore. And it's awfully interesting that shows like Buffy, TVD, and all that are what people want reactors to react to given their popularity. Even over newer shows. So that pretty much says it all imo.

Why do you guys cut most of the audio out and barely put any of the scenes up. Lowkey irratating, at least more audio would be good, I wouldn’t have subscribed if I knew it were like this

Even showing it on screen but blurring it to where you barely see shapes and only just colors would help so much !! They wouldn’t even get copyright. I watch these other reactors on Patreon and they do that and it helps so much !! This barely showing the show or movie at all thing is so frustrating

I wouldn't have subscribed either - I've watched these reactions to this show from tons of creators and they don't do that. It's really a bit of a rip off unless you're watching along at the time - unfair and I really would just prefer to cancel and go back to watching on you tube. I basically don't want to watch ten or fifteen minutes of the show with audio and just listen all of you with no show for the rest. I do love your reactions BTW and watched the first 6 without subscribing to patreon which is why I joined.
